Nick Hartman: I put this netting over my raised garden bed to keep birds away from my strawberries.

PROS:
-Good value for the amount of netting
-Lightweight
-Virtually invisible once installed
-Allows pollinators to enter, but keeps birds out

CONS:
-Very thin - may tear easily if it gets snagged on something
-Somewhat stretchy and creased from being folded, so it's difficult to cut and place evenly
-A little unwieldy to unwrap, as it comes folded instead of rolled. If you are planning to use more than a little piece of this, consider it a two person job

So far it's working well.

ThriftyThrifty: Over the last 9+ years I've had rabbits feast on my lawn at least twice daily (usually during dawn and dusk hours). Not only do they burrow holes in the ground, they also eat the grass to the roots, urinate, and leave their scat on the ground turning the area yellow. After getting Lawn Violation notices from an unsympathetic HOA Enforcement with a timeline to correct or get fined, I tried shooing the rabbits away, used a motion-detection lawn sprinkler to squirt them, and applied various repellants which had little effect. I then tried covering the front lawn in the dormant winter months with a jute mesh blanket so I wouldn't have the worst lawn in the neighborhood come spring. That worked okay, but when it came time to remove the blanket it was wet and smelled mildewy. So I opted to use something lighter, was less visible, didn't retain water, and let the lawn breathe. And that was bird netting.

Overall it works well and prevents most of the damage. Like criminals, if you make your target harder then they will usually opt for a softer target (in this case another nearby unprotected lawn). Notwithstanding, there's been a couple of instances where a persistent rabbit has...
