Marina Megale: I have an ongoing battle to keep the rats, rabbits and birds (mostly intelligent crows) from ravaging my seedlings and larger vegetables. I covered 5 large raised planting beds with this mesh fabric and the marauders have been kept out as long as I staked the bottom of the fabric and sealed off access from underneath the sides... I also used this material on the upper walls and roof of a new greenhouse .
If I got complacent about keeping the fabric taut and securing it along the bottoms of the sides, the nocturnal munchers returned with a vengeance. I will use this every growing season.

OWit2OWit2: I bought this cover mesh to stop the squirrels from digging out the garlic that I plant late fall. I bought the mesh oversized so that I could buy or fabricate hoops that I can attach to the side of my raised beds. It worked so far the squirrels have not tried to dig up the garlic. It is much easier to handle than the deer mesh I used in the past. It will store easily if I decide to pull it off as the garlic gets higher in the late spring early summer. I’m glad I bought it and I’d recommend it as well.
