LoneWolf: I bought this for when my cat started scratching from fleas. Of course this product is not going to kill your flea problem however the fleas certainly didn't like the spray. Any time I saw a flea on the floor, I'd spray near it, just to see if they'd acknowledge it. They would flee from the scent. Regularly I sprayed his cat bed and hiding spots. Even sprayed his brush and would brush it through his fur. It didn't keep them away permanently but they didn't like it when it was freshly sprayed at least.
It smells great. Every time I sprayed I'd say it smelled like Christmas.
My cat didn't seem too concerned by the smell. He just wasn't enjoying the fleas so I think he would've tolerated about anything though.
Pairing this spray, as a repellent, with a pet safe flea collar and other means of managing fleas to kill the little beasts (such as food grade diatomaceous earth) is your best bet. Don't rely on this product as your stand alone flea cure of course.

Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it didn't last very long. After it dried and the scent faded, the fleas would be back in their spots. Other than that, I didn't expect it to be a flea killer, just...

J.Casil: ‎My 2 year old outdoor/indoor cat got Bobcat tick disease on May 8/9 and survived, thank H V N . I took him to the vet on Monday May 11th and he was out by Friday - apparently clear of danger. so I got this and have not seen a tick or other creature on my two cats since. And I would take out a few ticks from each of them about every week before I started using this product.

I had to be very careful and slow in the first weeks of spraying them, because my cats were not used to having anything on their coats.

I think over time they learn appreciate it because they realize they get no bug bites.

An affordable price on Subscribe and Save, but since I have only been using it a month I am giving it 4 stars. If it holds up over the summer, I will give it 5 stars.

My female cat with the thicker bushier hair, seems to hold on to the product better/longer. I put it on heavy and my cats don't get wet, so I don't have to reapply it for 4 days - every 2-3 days is just nuts. I am going to transition to another product, garlic tablets, but they take 1 month to go into full effect. So until then, I am using this spray.

AF: This is the second time I purchased this product. It is probably one of the few natural and pet safe repellents out there. They sell a organic and pet friendly repellant only at Home Depot which smells identical to this product so the ingredients are the same i suspect. It has a very strong odor but it is not bad and I use this on my Huskies daily b/c around here in the summer they wander off into the bushes and almost always get a tick once a month since they get daily walks and sometimes two. The Advantix II and Frontline didn't help at all so i resorted to using apple cider vinegar on their treats and when giving them baths using a little vinegar to help penetrate to the skin then wash it off. It helped or it could have just been a coincidence in conjunction to using this product daily on their feet and rubbing it near their necks which is where ticks love to climb and cling on to. Since using this product i have not found a single tick on them with the exception of finding one on one of them and that is because we took a new route and the rascal pulled me to the side so he could pee on a bush and rubbed his lower half into the bush which i had not sprayed. I keep them away...
