I am happy w/ this purchase. Have 2 cats that stay outside. They weren't mine to start w/ but I take care of them now. This arrived earlier than predicted. Works perfectly. Soon as I put it together & put it outside 1 of them was in it & stayed in it any time it was cold. It is weather proof too!

Other reviewers are unhappy about it not being "outdoors" as listed, but I can give it 5 stars for a garage with a nearby electrical outlet. At night, our indoor/outdoor cat prefers the garage so he can go out the cat door. It has been fabulous. When the temperature drops below 60 degrees in the garage, the heating pad goes to cat temperature. He loves the fleece mattress cover, which I occasionally run through the wash. We put the house on a shelf a couple feet above the floor so he also has a perch when a neighborhood cat invades.
