Amazon Customer: I like it frist time useing it and my baby birds love it a lot. It Smells so good. And just make sure u use warm water to mix it. A. B. COLE: Mindy found the baby bird. Freshley fallen from a nest. Almost stepped on her as she lay in the leaves. I came to her and she put the baby in my hand. And it begins.
At home I had the Kaytee Exact powder formula. So I left work and took her home. I added just enough warm water to make a milkshake like thick mixture and with an eye dropper feed the open, vocal and demanding voice with the food of life.

Seth & Jackie Cullen: This really helped keep our 1 year old Crimson Bellied Conure healthy after having his beak trimmed at the vet. His beak was so sore that he couldn't eat his mash, pellets, millet, and seed. Started him on this with this and a little no sugar added applesauce for the first 2 days, then this alone for about 4 days, and then he was eating this and his mash for 3 days while introducing pellets. Now back to his regular eating. We just wish we didn't have to buy a big bag of it as it expires in Nov. 2022 and we got it on 1 day prime. We will try freezing it, but we don't know if we will need it again.

Donna Loves Reviews: My birds love this formula! I hand fed my cockatiels 5 years ago and to this day they still like to eat it several times a week and it keeps them healthy. This formula really made all of my birds very healthy when they were little chicks and they loved it. I have never had any problems with them not liking it, if anything they were always very excited during feeding time. Almost 7 years later I continue to feed them this formula and they go nuts when they hear me in the kitchen mixing it up for them. I put in on a dish and they eat it right up like a treat. They also like it when I put it on a spoon for them so they can get on my shoulder and enjoy their treat.
Very recently we had more cockatiel babies hatch and we hand fed them using this same brand and they also loved eating the formula. We purchased the 1ml syringes from Amazon that are wonderful to use and purchased this large bag as well. We have the Kaytee container and just scooped out the formula from the large bag and placed it in the container to keep everything fresh and manageable during feedings.
