KastKing Crixus IM6 Graphite Spinning & Casting Fishing Rods

Nacho leybaNacho leyba: This is my 3rd crixus rod(1st casting). These rods look good and feel good, great action. I own some fairly expensive rods and these crixus are right there with them, at a way less price. I'm gonna have to try some more of there rods.

Brent E. Davis: Rod measures up to many of my high end purchase rods and actually looks as good as a couple of my custom built. If your worried about any thing about the build or comfort or weight, DONT be. Super pleased with it all.

Maxim Lvov: Rod is good my only complain is that smooth wrap on handle with kastking logo is cheap and surface comes off after some time. Ironically there is regular foam under it. Please do a good thing just make full foam handle it will be even cheaper to make I guess but it will be more robust.

Noah: Needed a rod I could use smaller lures on for fishing in the creek and this one seemed to fit the bill. Have caught mostly smaller bass on it (1lb or less) and it has held up well. It also provides for a fun fight due to its light power. I am genuinely impressed with the comfort and quality of this rod and am looking forward to giving other KastKing products a try. Started with their tackle bag and was impressed by its quality, so I decided to try a rod. I'm impressed with it too, so maybe a reel will be next! I'd say this is definitely better quality than similar priced products you can buy at walmart.

Daring 49: 1. Shipping tube, super amazing, I don't know how KK can do that at these prices. With graphite, invisible damage can be done especially via lateral concentrated impact. Can look fine until it snaps where hit under load. As another reviewer mentioned, "The mailman couldn't damage it if he tried."
2. Handle grip material. Perfect. Non slip when wet or fish slimed. As another mentioned, easy to clean. Add durable, and aesthetically pleasing. Won't flake dust over the years like some that have a non slip sponge like forming process, the Crixus process is superior.

3. Weight. I've learned the hard way, that fishing all day, cast after cast, takes a toll on your dominant hand, wrist, and arm. Ounces make a difference. Crixus rods are almost my lightest. Lighter and at same price range is my Cadence 6'6" Medium, Fast 2 pc, featuring a "30 ton" blank. But it was about $10 more, and like a precision instrument that I'm constantly concerned about damaging.

4. Guides - but, I like the Crixus guides more than the Cadence. My best guides are on my Perigee II (KastKing from here on Amazon). Those guides are works of art.
