Nelson Schnepf: The "button" is touch sensitive, so it's super easy to find in the dark. I'm actually using these as night-stand lights since their glow is so gentle on the eyes but can also be strong enough to read by on the highest of the three settings. Internal, rechargeable battery works great too!

Steven: Well honestly, if someone has a pair of heavy duty bolt cutters and is planning on stealing the bike there is not much you can do short of standing over the bike. This lock will keep the best of theves busy and go to the next bike. kind of like the Club for cars.
Having said that it is a great way to lock the bike up and keep anyone walking by from stealing it. One would need a powerful tool. it is relativiley lite weight and seems tough.
A great value at the price.

Diggy: Lock works fine, pretty short, maybe too short, makes locking frequently a hassle. Another inch would make a huge difference. SIlicon finish creates friction when trying to put lock in holder, which I rarely use.
