Kamik Men's Nationplus All-Weather Snow Boot - Keep Your Feet Warm and Dry in Cold Conditions

Chin Music: These boots have been great. While plowing, my feet were never cold. They are easy on/off and kept all the snow and rain off of my feet. The Kamiks have a deep tread which enabled me to walk anywhere and not fear slipping. I thought I would be getting "cheap" boots but I think these Kamiks going to last for years; I probably wore them 30 times and they still look new.

JEO: After checking out several review videos online, the Kamik (Nation or Wide) was consistently a well thought of choice. Biggest complaint I heard was that the Kamik-Wide was misleading and some with wide feet were disappointed with fit and that "wide" (according to Kamik website) refers to size at top of boot, not toe space.

So being cautious, I canceled my Kamik-Wide order and opted instead for a Kamik-Nation size 14 (14 was no longer available from Amazon for Wide). I have had toe rubbing causing bruising with my 1-size bigger rubber boots so went 3-sizes bigger for this order. When the boots came and I tried them on for my first walk out in the cold, I was elated at the feeling of warmth and space in the boots! It seriously felt like walking barefoot, but with protection and comfort. And no more red, cold toes from rubbing of too-small boots!!!

I am, however, not pleased with the durability of the insert booties as I already see a sign of wear damage starting on one of the seems, so be sure to get an extra pair of booties as a backup if you will be relying on these to keep you warm and comfy in cold, winter conditions.

Ashley Litsey: My old snow boots finally wore out, and I was very stressed about finding another pair (I live in Wisconsin so it is cold and snowy often). Luckily, I stumbled upon these boots which were exactly what I was looking for! They are warm, sturdy, and do a great job keeping snow out. They are also lighter than my old boots, which is great considering how solid the boots are. My only complaint is that sometimes the liner gets smashed down when I put them on—I have to unlace the boot pretty far to make sure my foot goes in properly. Other than than, I would recommend these boots to anyone who needs to spend time in the snow.

Sage Moon: I got these boots because of the Wirecuttter recommendation and it was spot on. These are incredibly warm and durable. Fit well, a little on the tight side but this is good to not fall. Highly recommend.

Paul: The boots seem to be well made. I have used them for a season now and bought mostly to go out and shovel the snow, but use them on some walks with the family or tobogganing. The sole is a but hard so I bought a thermal insole, cut it to size, and it adds some extra cushion and warmth. I would recommend sizing up on these as they fit a bit snug. I am normally a size 10.5 - 11, and I bought these in size 12. I probably could have gotten away with a size 11.5, but I like that they are easy to take off, and with the added thermal insole they fit well.

FinianFinian: The boot is true to size and walks a little heel-heavy in, but the first impression is that it is good. My crampons fit nicely on them, which is very important. I look forward to testing them with snow and ice when I go to the mountains.
After going to Mount Mitchell in 20F, climbing 3400 feet for 3 hours, and descending. These boots kept my feet warm, and no blisters were formed. At 4000 feet, it got icy, and the snow got a little deeper. I used some crampons in the pictures, and they worked perfectly. My feet did get a little moist, but I blamed myself for not overlapping my pants leg over my boots like I did in the pictures. My feet were never cold, so maybe it was sweat. I need to test them more. I plan on going to Mount Mitchell again in colder weather and, hopefully, snowier conditions. I also plan to climb Grandfather Mountain via Profile Trail and test these boots. I will keep this review up to date.
On 1/17/24, I took these boots to Grandfather Mountain in 5F and did 10.4 miles in deep snow at some points up to my hip. It took me 8 hours. I started from the profile trailhead and went to the swinging bridge and back. These boots stayed very warm and...
