Frank Drebin: Aufgrund der vielen negativen Rezensionen, war meine Erwartungshaltung dementsprechend niedrig. Als das flott gelieferte Amazonpaket heute ankam, habe ich mir gleich ein massives Testbrett geschnappt (Kiefer 20mm) und von jeder Kategorie Bohrer einen getestet. Der zugegeben ziemlich kleine Halter funktioniert und hält den Bohrer absolut mittig (habe den aber mit Ballistol etwas geschmeidiger gemacht). Mit jedem der Testbohrer konnte ich ohne große Mühe das Brett durchbohren. Bei Hartholz wird es natürlich etwas anstrengender sein. Die Fertigungsstreuung mag in China recht groß sein, aber mein Exemplar funktioniert beeindruckend gut und die Bohrer sind schön scharf.

Andoni: Es tipo destornillador con un montón de puntas. Si esperas taladrar una pared si lo logras igual te lleva un buen tiempo. No esperes algo automático porque le tienes que dar tu las vueltas manualmente. A mi me sirve de sobra porque yo lo necesitaba para la maqueta de un barco y para hacerle agujeros a eso viene genial.

Robert James: I do a lot of scale models and every now and then you need a hole drilled. A tiny hole that can be drilled without melting the plastic so this hand drill can make very small holes slowly and carefully. It works for me!

tas: Arrived in a plastic bag containing a small clear plastic box and several bags containing the drill bits and "vice." Not sure what the tweezers are for. They will end up in my backpacking kit for tick removal. Used the 1.35mm bit to carefully enlarge some 3/64" holes in thin aluminum. Did the job. That's the kind of use I'll make of the sub-two mm sizes. Don't want to break them. Really like that the bits are .1mm increments in the small sizes. Have to use a micrometer to ID the bit size. If you don't have one, good luck identifying the bit size. .

MF: I build and work on miniature dollhouses and I did not have a small tool like this. But would I need one? Apparently for one project I would. I didn't want to spend a ton of money but I didn't want to buy utter junk. This tool fit the bill perfectly! I couldn't wait to get it and use it. Right out of the box it was comfortable and easy to use. The bits for the tool are only in small tiny Ziploc bags and the will need some better storage solution for the future. BUT, that is minor and not unexpected for the amazing price and good quality of this tool.

A. J. Luna: Honestly I am very happy with this purchase. There are plenty of bits here to do some of the smallest holes I could possibly need, however, there is almost no organization. The bits are separated out by size into three Ziploc bags which is OK, but no where near ideal. I would prefer to have a small block of rubber, plastic, elastomer or even wood where the bits were placed into to keep them a bit organized.

There are duplicates of each bit, so do not expect to have 50 different bit sizes, at most there are 25 sizes, which in all honesty is a good number considering they range from 0.47mm up to 2.87mm. If they are not duplicates then many of the sizes are difficult to distinguish due to the the sheer number of bits, and this lends to the point that there must be a way to organize them.

The handle is a knurled aluminum shaft with a triple cut compression fitting that allows the bits from the smallest to the largest to be handled. The handle fits well within the hand and has a floating palm knob that allows the handle to be turned while applying pressure, but they could have put in a ball bearing instead of the pressure fitting they did, this would allow a much more...

NotSmall: Being this is an inexpensive product, it is adequate.
Pros are the collection of drill bits supplied. There are very many sizes in very small increments so you can get a hole just the size you need. Also, a small tweezers is provided which is handy. Plus the shape makes it fairly easy to use well.
The con is that the chuck on the handle that holds the bits is not very well machined. It's hard to get the bit, especially the very small ones, centered in the chuck, and quite hard, again especially with the smallest bits, to get the chuck tightened enough to firmly grip the bit.
If you only need this for occasional hobby projects, then it should be fine. But if you are going to need it often, I would look for a higher quality version.
