river_deb: I put the bit in my Dremel and it drilled holes much, much faster than the old American Drill, drill bits I have been using. Since they are so small, they do break a lot. So, I usually have a new one in the Dremel all the time. The last batch did not seem to drill very well, these are wonderful.

TH: I needed a #54 bit to install a front sight on a S&W. This size fit great and was fairly reasonably priced. I almost bought a single bit, but figured if I did, I'd break it. To me spending a few extra dollars to get a 12 pack was a no brainer. Of course, now I need more revolvers, so I change their sights. Note, none of my drills, Dremel, tap handles would accept such a small bit. I recommend a micro drill chuck that will fit into your standard drill chuck. I was lucky with masking tape; you might be too.
