Ted G.: I weigh around 160 pounds and it was perfect for body boarding on the beach. It has a strap to put on your arm and goes a long way with the right wave! May be a little big for youngsters but by the end of the trip it was all we used! So, if you're deciding between this one and a small one I would definitely choose this one! Would buy this again and again for trips to the beach.
