Amazon Customer: I have bought cat houses from this company before. The smaller version. I had the smaller houses in the garage and catio. The houses seem to hold up well in the weather if they are under a porch or something similar. (I've had the previous houses for 4years now.)
Due to the new larger* additions of stray cats, I needed larger cat houses. :) These are a better design. They are elongated so the cat can stay on one side away from the door flaps. We are just getting into the winter here in Michigan. Will update the review in March. LOL

Pat: I have two cats that need shelter outside. We put this under the carport in a corner that is mostly shielded from the wind. We get allot of wind here. The cats love it. Its large enough for all 3 of my cats to go into. I don't worry about them being trapped due to a predator, because there is a second door they can go out. The heated bed, is slightly warm and activate by there body heat. When they get stuck outside, they are protected from the elements. They love it. P.S. Almost no assembly!

Kindle Customer: This product is just as advertised if you take the time to read everything and it works great.
I use this for my cat who stays in the shed with an outdoor enclosure attached to window. The shed isn't insulated but has cardboard on the walls with a heater running. It still gets pretty cold in there and I wanted to be sure she would be safe in the winter.
I got this cat house to put in the shed and it works perfectly and she enjoys it. It heats well, if you lay your hand on it you can almost instantly feel the heat. I know with the weight of my cats entire body on that heating pad, she will definitely be feeling warm.
Assembling it is super easy with Velcro and it's actually quite sturdy. You can remove the door flaps for the entre way by just detaching the Velcro which is convenient.
I don't notice any air leaks in the house. As long as you properly line the Velcro pieces up evenly when assembling it, there isn't an issue with cold air entering from anywhere besides the entryway of course.
There is a small portion of floor inside in front of the entre ways of the house that isn't heated but my cat doesn't seem to mind and it didn't keep her from getting on the large...

Lydia Morales: I bought a smaller one before for a stray that eventually came inside. I recently ended up with a Stray Mom and her three babies showing up. Two of them fit in the other one so I thought if I get a bigger one they can all stay in one. It is very sturdy. The other one has held up pretty good. I left it outside after I brought the other in, just in case any other stray needed a safe place to crash. It also comes with a heat pad which I have not tested yet. With the other one I was using those 18-hour hand warmers. Those were lifesavers for us inside during the Texas Winter storm. I made a cloth holder to put the warmers in and they work pretty good, if you don't want to get the plug in pad.

Hobbit: We have 2 (outside) garage/shop cats and they are able to share this warm space. The 13 year old cat loves it and spends many hours curled up in it.

Amazon Customer: I got this for my newly adopted feral cats. It doesn’t get quite as warm as I’d hoped, but the cats seems to like it anyway! It’s solid construction. We have it setup in our barn so it’s still inside from the elements. So far so good!

Gail: This is my second purchase of such hut.
Last year it kept a Stray protected in -55 temperatures with windchill factor (with surrounding wind protectors as well such as cardboard, blankets and a tarp) The heating pad in the hut seemed to have provided much comfort to said cat.
Grateful that they have now made the size of the hut larger.

Bama: I used for my 2 outside cats, I placed inside a structure building, ran a heavy duty electric cord to plug it in and it works really great. My two outdoor cats really enjoy it, one sometimes will be napping on top of it, the other inside cozy. They get along well to cuddle inside together when it's really cold like with the polar vortex we got (-30°c day time highs, -45°c wind chill.) Happy with the purchase as my cats enjoy it, it is abit pricey but worth every penny. I got on sale for $180, with S&H $200, fast delivery too within a week.

V.KnowlesV.Knowles: I live in Northern Ontario, Canada so it can get quite cold here. Our cats are outdoor cats who very rarely choose to come inside, although they do have the option. We have an outside shelter for them, but there is nothing to keep them warm so I bought this heaty kitty house. Needless to say, it was a big hit! Easy to put together, (just velcro) and they love it. I have found at least two of them sleeping in there at the same time. I like that the plastic doors come off - we'll probably leave them off in the summer. It's not rain proof and it has an electrical cord, so as long as you can protect it, you should be fine. You can see in the photo that ours is on a deck so that it is away from the damp.

FoxySoniaFoxySonia: The media could not be loaded.  I was unsure as to how to rate this, as I'm neither happy nor unhappy with this purchase, just disappointed. This is going to be a long review. I purchased this "outdoor" "heated" cat house a few days ago from Amazon, on sale for $53.99 before tax, and it arrived quickly, in about 2 days. It was fairly easy to assembled. The walls connect to each other with velcro, and to the roof with a plastic zipper on each of the thinner sides, and velcro strips on the longer sides, that unfortunately don't seal all the edges, so it lets some cold air in through the unseal areas. Although I like the house, for its ease of assembly and being light-weight to carry, and more importantly, the cat I bought it for, a rescued stray cat, uses it, it does not appear to be insulated, and the heating floor pad barely heats at all. When I received it a couple of days ago, I immediately assembled it quickly (took about 10 minutes), and tested the heating floor pad indoors (inside my heated apartment) by placing a pillow over it for over 20 minutes (as suggested in the instructions sheet), and after that time I could barely register any warmth with my hand placed on top...
