Construction seems sturdy and durable. It is well insulated and setting it up was a breeze. The 2 exit doors are a standout feature allowing the cat to feel safe and secure. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase and recommend it.

jetcrash9jetcrash9: While doing some renovating, we're staying in my parent's garage (it was a Nash dealership back in the day). It has finished rooms, but we're in a cold environment, so I was looking for warm places for the cats in the area the garage heater didn't warm up. They have lots of other cat heating pads, thermal beds, plush carriers, but I thought we should have a plug in warmer for every cat. I need to get another one because I got it today, and the boys were in it in minutes. I took the front flap off, but when Squint thought Crow was going to be the first one in, he rallied from the back flap and has been king of the castle ever since. Disclaimer: My cats don't know that they aren't supposed to like everything that is for cats. Assembly was easy, I'm using it for indoor use only, but it is super warm (I didn't get to follow the warming instructions before it was full of cats). Cozy, safe, warm space for cats that like things for cats.

Trudy: Too small, i have a small cat and he cant turn around in the tent. Had to open disassemble and open the whole side of he wont go in it. For the price i am pretty much only using the heat pad

E.T.: I bought this for an outdoors cat I take care of. The shelter was put in my porch, so it has roof and some protection from wind. However, shelter is made of materials of very low quality. The inside of the "walls" is made of cardboard. Very flimsy overall. The heated bed hardly heats. Definitely doesn't withstand not even a mild winter, much less a Canadian one. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Diane: la tente est trop petite pour un chat adulte et le fil de branchement est trop court étant donné qu'on ne peut utiliser de rallonge électrique
j'ai transféré le tapis chauffant dans un abri pour chat plus grand et qui peut rester à l'extérieur

Barbara: I choose this design because it's small enough that it doesn't take up too much room but it's big enough to fit a cat or possum in my garage in winter. In my opinion, a smaller area for sleeping is better to retain body heat than a larger one. The heat pad that comes with it keeps the temperature at a comfortable rate that isn't high. Note that the heat pad doesn't heat up the whole unit, and isn't intended to do that. Instead, it keeps the animal warm and comfortable while it lies on the pad.
It took about 30 seconds to put together. The fabric is strong and reinforced so I like that it is sturdy and won't collapse. The cost is near to the lowest I could find when I did my research.
I'm happy with this purchase.

D: This is the 2nd heated tent that I have purchased for barn cats. Not because of a problem with the 1st tent, but because 1 of my cats doesn't allow the other inside. Even though this is advertised as being for 1 cat, it works for 2 if they are buddies. You - as a human - will not feel much heat; but the cat(s) will-I follow the instructions with a heavy rock to be sure it heats up before I set it up & trust it with the cats. BIG improvement in design over the original - easier to put together, no stress on the fabric nor frame as there is sturdy wide Velcro and not a zipper now. The instructions & diagrams are also improved. Easy to spot clean the tent; I place the pad cover in a lingerie bag for machine washing. I suggest purchasing an extra cover...that way you can wash/dry 1 while 1 is in use. I like to keep checking the cover to keep an eye out for worms, fleas, vomit, etc., so I wash the covers often. Fabric is sturdy as is the electrical cord. Because I know better, I knew this is not for "outdoors" as in its on-line advertising title & the packaging which shows a snowy field with red barns in the background as if the tent is in an open field. It should be set up...

Jack in the GreenJack in the Green: I've noticed a lot of the other reviews mentioned that these cannot go outside in the elements.
This is absolutely true, they do need to be under some kind of shelter. so if you are planning on sticking this outside with no kind of cover in the weather, this is not going to work. Using it in a shed or workshop is ideal.
They are made out of like a polyester shell with some kind of stiffening and insulating material inside.
They are very easy to put together, and the heating pad seems to be soft and effective. In the picture you can see Smokey is very much enjoying staying in the one that I have put in the workshop.
Cons... The doors are pretty lame. I put the back one on, and just leave the front one off. Cats may or may not be smart enough to figure out how to get in with that cheesy plastic cover over the door way. I would also like to see the power cord being a little longer, it can be hard to position this thing with the heating pad because quite simply, the cord is just really not long enough.
All in all, a great buy for your outdoor cats or barn cats.

Item Reviews: I bought this heated a-frame kitty bed for my large adult kitty for the cold Canadian winters and he loves it. It took a while for him to get used to it, but as soon as he knew there was heat 'innit, he was there everytime I opened the door! Kind of wish it was a little bit bigger than 18x14 but it'll do. The material used feels like it will cut any wind or storms that come up against it (even though I have mine under a roofed porch).
If you have a mammoth sized kitty, you might want to get a larger one, but otherwise this was a great purchase for peace of mind when my mr. meow is outside at night in winter!

Suzette Simmonds: We have been putting out warming tents for our feral cats for a number of years. These were to replace some that had worn out. They seem warmer than the old ones. Plus, the bed surface is much softer and snugglier. Our kitties are happy!
