Vlad II: Its a decent unit. Worth the $40 paid for it. Now it's $80 so not a great deal anymore.
I tested the batteries capacity. They tested to under 1.3 Ah. So they are about the lowest possible capacity cells these days. But they work OK.

lovethemysteries: Easy one handed saw. I am 78 and find this very easy to use. I also like that it all fits in its own carry case.

Carol D.: My husband is so in love with this mini-chainsaw that he just bought a SECOND ONE! A year ago on Prime Day I bought a 4" mini chainsaw by JPOWTECH for ME so I could cut branches and do things without making my husband do it with his big honking full sized chainsaw. I knew he was going to tell me it was stupid, so I hid it from him for months. Then he hurt his shoulder and needed to cut some 2-3" branches so I pulled it out and told him he could use it. For nearly an entire month he refused and gave me hell for buying it because it "wasn't necessary"... but he finally calmed down and tried it and he FELL IN LOVE! This was maybe 6 months ago and he's used it nearly every day or two since. One of the 2 batteries that came with it is starting to have issues and won't hold a charge, but after such heavy use he not only isn't upset about it (although he was disappointed that JPOWTECH has not had replacement batteries to buy on Amazon for many months now), he decided on this just-past Prime Day to buy another mini-chainsaw (upgrading to a 6" model that uses the same batteries) and INSISTED it be the JPOWTECH brand because he trusts it so much! I can't tell you how strong an endorsement...

Traderhut Games: Firstly, let me say, I LOVE this tool.

OK, so I'll list the Cons first:

1. The guard was designed for a 4" unit, and as it runs it quickly chews through the guard until it is cut out of the way of the blade... Once that is done, the guard works fine.

Hmm, that was my whole list:

Pros:
Light weight, easy to carry out to work on any cutting you need (up to 4" branches!)

Charge it up and run it for a long time.

No gas/noise when it runs. Not breathing in toxic fumes, not damaging your ears.

Actually, it is fun to use.

Lighter/quicker than a change saw

Thinner kerf, so less wasted wood - if you are using for firewood, or to use the wood for something else... Might as well have 1/2 the thickness of a kerf (cut width)

Cuts quickly, in part because it is cutting a thin cut.

Makes quick work of fallen branches... I had to go out in freezing weather to cut up some branches because the city said so (or pay $$$/day), zip, zip, zip and done! Took me very little time to get the job DONE!

Includes a very nice case that keeps it all neat, and includes bonus things like goggles and gloves.
