Cliente Amazon: Es un estupendo libro para iniciar a los más peques en lenguaje musical y la técnica del piano. Los temas son fáciles y entretenidos.
Es aconsejable (aunque no imprescindible) que el adulto tenga conocimientos más avanzados para poder acompañar al piano al pequeño y que sea más ameno.

Geethu Rajasekharan: You wouldnt believe, I'm able to teach my 5 year old kid with this book! In an hour we covered whole notes, half notes, quater notes, how to write them including exercises and fun pictures! We covered C and D!

Jennifer Torres: I first used these books in the early 2000's when I first started piano lessons and now we use them for our beginner students in our music academy! I love this book because it teaches the first notes of piano one by one and allows an easy understanding for students and an easy guide for instructors. We use it for all of our beginners students from ages 5-12. I used it buy them at our local book store but I'm glad they're available now on Amazon for quick and easy access!

Spring: I tried multiple piano books that were recommended in US through my own google search (step by step, Alfreds basic, etc) but it was packed with information from the beginning, made my confusing, and wasn't easy for me to understand. Because of that I couldn't enjoy learning piano at all (I self learn). Gave up all the time. I saw a youtube about piano books used in UK and this one was recommended to learn from the basics! I love it! This is the only one that was so helpful to understand from the basics for someone like me who never learned piano! It explains every little thing from what is clef, what does the number means next to clef, what is measure, what is C, which you use right hand, what is tie, what is rest etc but ONE by ONE! Every page you flip, they teach you new notes or thing like that. It wont try to teach you all at once. One by one. My 5 and 7 years old does well with this book because its so user friendly!

LajakimaLajakima: We are loving this book! Only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 is because I purchased it brand new but it appears to be used. The corner of the book is stained, as seen in the picture.

M Flo: This is the first book I've ever used learning how to play the piano 30+ years ago. Now, I use this book to teach my 6 year old, and boy does it bring back memories! I tried using a different (and more popular) book, but it doesn't compare to John Thompson. I may be biased because I have an affinity to this one, so I'm basing this review purely from my personal experience. The JT series is a great starting point for learning the basics of note reading which is a completely different language altogether that is "piano." My kid absolutely enjoys learning and playing, especially when he gets to learn about a new note. And when I play the accompaniment alongside him, it just encourages him to practice even more so we can move on to the next piece.
