tomtom: Excellent quality but came a little dry. I can definitely see why people have cracking issues if the board is not treated properly from the start. I oiled mine several times a day for 4 days letting it soak oil every night. Then gave it 2 full days of cream. Might have been overkill but the board now has a lustrous sheen and took on a beautiful golden color. Oh yeah, works fantastic with my Wusthof knives as long as you don't mind cleaning a big heavy board.

BillBerry: I have used the Mystery Oil for several years; bought the Care Set (Oil and Cream) when it was on sale not long ago. I have to say the two together get even better results. These two products together do an excellent job on all my boards, wooden utensils, and wooden knife handles. I've found that for me, it's easier to apply the oil by hand. I just drop some oil on the item and rub it in with my hands. Next day, I wipe the item with an old dishcloth that I have for this purpose. I use the same method with the cream. I've found the easiest way to get the cream (it's thick) out of the tube is to take off the cap, lay the tube down on the counter, and press the tube with the heel of my hand. Buy this stuff and use it regularly. Your wooden items will thank you.

Janie: I love putting this on my butcher block. It really does make a big difference it's a must-have no doubt when you have the tools to work with it makes all the difference in the world for your upkeep of all your things that cost money and makes things last a lot longer in your life that you could probably pass down to your grandkids and this is probably one of them I'm going to pass down is my butcher block because it will be taken care of with this substance it is really great.

Blinken Lights: Dadurch, dass die Wachspaste nicht aushärtet, kann man die Oberfläche auch hin und wieder mal gut bis aufs Holz abschrubben. Braucht man aber normal nicht!
Genau deswegen wollte ich kein aushärtendes Öl verwenden.

Gegen Weißöl und Bienenwachs habe ich nichts.
Wer aber kein Mineralöl mag, der sollte ein anderes Produkt kaufen.

Nach zwei Applikationen bleibt das Brett jetzt auch nach Benutzung schön versiegelt.
Das Boos Öl habe ich gar nicht erst gekauft, da ich es für nicht notwendig halte, auch wenn der Hersteller die Anwendung so empfiehlt. Wer seine Bretter zuerst ölen will, kann das Mineralöl auch bei Ikea kaufen... das ist billiger.

Veronik: Prodotti appositamente dedicati alla cura dei taglieri in legno, sopratutto se pregiati.
Ho comprato un tagliere Boos molto grande e costoso. Questi due prodotti sono eccezionali se usati in combinazione. Ho notato tra l’altro che garantiscono una protezione a lunga durata. Il costo non è indifferente, è vero. Ma ne basta poco per ogni applicazione.
