Amazon Customer: I've bought this several times now; it is simply the best finishing oil I've used. I use this on furniture too, it brings out the grain, penetrates well and buffs to a lovely finish. It also has a delightful scent.

Julia Bian: It smells great, however I think you will need a wax applicator sponge to use this correctly. It's hard to do an easy application with just towels (which is what I did). MY cutting board does seem in better condition after use, which I'm happy with. Granted I don't use my wood boards for meat and aromatics, only fruits and vegetables which may contribute to this. Overall happy I got this though there is a learning curve to applying the first time.

J. A. LeopoldJ. A. Leopold: This oil and wax is what you should be using. It brings out the beauty of the wood while protecting it. It has a slight citrus smell that is delightful. I had used a different wood oil before, but the results weren't as good as using this.
My only complaint is that the wax didn't come with an applicator pad like the one in the pictures. I butired a sponge and now use that.
