Maggie: This doesn't seem to work very well compared to other meters I've used. It is incredibly slow to respond and slow to reset its numbers, like the screen freezes even when it is not on HOLD. The instructions aren't that helpful either. No troubleshooting page or anything. Put your money towards something else.

Paul Tree: I’m not sure about the accuracy if this unit because not sure how to use it properly. The instruction booklet was so tiny that I had to put the pages on a copier and enlarge them 186% to make them readable. And there are only six tiny pages or the equivalent of 2 normal size pages. The instructions tell you which buttons to push and how to install batteries but that’s about it. No information on different scales, how far away from source to measure radiation, or what ranges to use, so without some of the usage parameters explained, this unit is pretty useless. I will change my rating if the seller provides a link to a real user manual.
