JM: This EMF detector is pretty cool! We love watching 'ghost' shows and always wanted one of these for fun. It seems to work pretty well - no ghosts detected yet, lol. It registers when placed nearby something electric. The kids have fun playing with it because they both are convinced that our house is haunted for some reason, haha. This is a fun thing to have!

Vincent R.: The included pamphlet of instructions isn't exactly clear of what to expect when using this. When it's turned on initially, the lights flash, but then the lights leading up to the middle stay on and stay that way for a while until it seems like it's "warmed up", I guess? I checked it against a few things around the house and only get faint readings from a small fan that causes the second light to flicker.
Time will tell if I try it out in the field, but I have doubts.
