Amy: Bought this toward the beginning of the summer because our old hose got dried out and brittle. This was a little more expensive than I was hoping for, but it works a charm. it was pretty easy to install, and it hasn't torn or anything at all this summer season. Hoping it lasts a few years at least, we'll see.

Talia Brown: Was so disappointed to spend a huge amount of money on an air conditioning unit, only to find the hose was way too short to reach the window. This replacement hose seems very good quality. It opens out and closes down firmly and slotted into the fittings perfectly. Very pleased not to have spent more.

EmmaEmma: I didn’t think I could have feelings about AC hoses, but this one blew me away (no pun intended).

I got this to extend my portable AC unit hose (counterclockwise style) so that it reaches a higher window.

The quality feels better than the hose that came with my $800+ AC (grey in the photo): the built is thick and sturdy and I can tell there are metal reinforcements inside. It is nevertheless plenty flexible and keeps its shape.

I don’t feel heat escaping at the join on either side, and the body of the hose only feels slightly warm.

It’s also a nice bright white that I quite enjoy.

Very happy with my purchase!

Jon: Was going to return because wouldn't attach. I finally got a small link & used Packing Tape to keep it locked on.
NOTE - the hose gets really hot, even included hose does ...
BUT when extended, there is a ton of heat coming off through a now long venting tube. I suggest insulating to keep all the heat in the vent tube until it gets to the outside to vent away

Constructive Consumer GalConstructive Consumer Gal: I purchased two of these because the black and decker hoses that came with the unit were a little too short for my high windows. Although these hoses are a bit more lightweight than the stock ones that came with the air conditioner, they do the trick just fine and we’re easy to put on. I bought the clockwise type as instructed in the manual for the air conditioner. Happy with purchase.
