Sarah B: Must read. If you love female comics, this is the book for you. It had been awhile since I found a book that I just couldn't put down. Way better than any of Handler or Schumer's books, it's much for like Kaling's book. After this you will be a fan of Jenny, and her refreshing honesty. The best stories are of her German boyfriend, and her allusions (I won't say delusions!) of grandeur about finding a foreign love--I've done this myself and could relate, and also could relate to 98% of everything else she's said or done.

Ms. Emma D. Stewart: After following Jenny and her husband on instagram, and finding them hilarious, I decided to give herbook a try. I was not disappointed , her stories of things she has gotten up to had me in stitches all the way throughout . it was a tad on the expensive side, but very funny, but would have loved an extra few chapters.

nobull433: I'm about half way done with this book, I'm not super crazy about it, but it's not the worse book I've read. Jenny Mollen bares it all and that's refreshing, but boy is she crazy! A little too crazy for me, it is hard for me to relate to this book, because it is pretty extreme. I did find myself laughing at any of it either, I just felt bad for her and I'm not sure if laughter is what she was going for.

gypsarella: I want to live in her life. That's what I was left with after reading this book. No holds barred, she took me on adventures and let me in on her motivation and thought process during the capers. Being born to very straight 1950's parents that tried to pound me into submission, I experienced great joy flying along with Jenny as she found her career, partners in crime, and her husband who also were square pegs in society's round holes. I'm looking forward to more escapades. We are all over the country. Maybe we're stuck in a different life, maybe we need a shining light to help us find our way, or maybe we're too old to gather the energy anymore, but love to live vicariously through Jenny. Readers have to have a certain sort of personality to be comfortable reading this book. If swearing or talk of body functions or sex makes you faint, read Little Women and leave Jenny for the rest of us.

JodiR: This book is not for those with, shall we say 'modest' senses of humor. If you like Chelsea Handler's books then you will love Jenny Mollen. I actually laughed out loud at certain parts, she is no holds-barred and lets it all out. I was actually sad when I was done this book, but I have a very filthy sense of humor if that tells you anything.

weetee: All woman need a copy of this hilarious book...in fact...This book is a MUST have for all... Jenny Mollen is hilarious - a celebrity who isn't trying to be something she is not, not trying to hide her past or cover up her issues, she just lays it all out in this book in the most hilariously honest way, her stories which to some may seem outrageous are honest, revealing and weirdly endearing! Even if you have not heard of Jenny before this is the best way for you to be introduced to her....Seriously you will not be able to put this down once you begin it and if it fails to make you laugh then you have more serious issues then Jenny herself! I can't wait for Jenny Mollen to bring out another book, such and intelligent comedian that i adore! 5 stars - a very happy customer! :D if you can't read there is a gorgeous picture of her Poodle, Mr Teets, on the back cover - so you should probably still buy it! ;)

CM: I've followed Jenny for years on twitter, read most if not all of her published online essays, watched an episode of Wilfred just because she was on it. So I was a fan going in.
I read the entire book in one day and was sad when it was over. Yes, some stories I had read online already, which I fully expected. Those stories got her the book deal.
I smiled a lot, laughed and even teared up while reading this. Jenny is obviously very funny, but it's her honesty that blows me away.
I want to hear more from her. And soon.

lauren c: This book is hilarious. Jenny is so self obsessed and just plain crazy but also very self aware. I can't understand how someone can be so intelligent and have zero sense at the same time but I don't care the book was really well written, made me laugh out loud a good few times. It's not for the faint hearted but I think it was brilliant. If you love hbo tv show "girls" you'll love this. If you are really well rounded, stable, normal person you may not like this... haha

Irene T: I love Jenny Mollen's writing. She is, as I've mentioned above, hilarious. She's smart-funny. Her book is well-written, insightful, and a really entertaining read. From a narcissist's point of view, I see quite a bit of myself in the stories. And of course, me = super interesting.
BUT. But, if like me, you've been sort of stalking her since you happened upon her internet writings from forever ago - there is quite a bit of repetition from old web content. For this reason, if more incremental voting were allowed, my actual rating would be 4.5. That and (spoiler alert) her saying she'd want to die if she were named Irene.
Really though, buy the book. The stories needed to be published, and it's not her fault that I'm a better stalker than she is.

Bob: OK, so Jenny Mollen is kinda funny and she can claim a few acting credits (I personally haven't seen anythings she's done), but it seems - to me, at least - that her real selling point is that she's married to American Pie guy, Jason Biggs, who I do by the way quite enjoy.
I would suggest that Mollen could have, with honest sincerity, simply titled her book "I Like Me" and been done with it because it really amounts to a giant shout-out to everyone about just what a terrific person she is (or wants you to believe). She targets (I learn more to "ridicules") her husband often and I see those instances as little more than attempts at self-aggrandizement. But they're still married so I guess he tolerates her much better than I would.
I cannot dis the book completely because there actually was some good stuff and, yes, I will admit to actually having a laugh or two. That said, my general impression remains that this was a "me-me" offering. Although I stop short of giving it a 'recommended" rating, your tastes may differ and you could find it to be a worthwhile purchase.
