Taylor: No complaints! I had my nurse friend pierce my nose. she has zero piercing skills but it just seemed like the wisest move. She’s used to sticking people with needles. Anyway, i ordered this set when I was drunk one night during covid quarantine. It took about 5 weeks to get here because apparently it wasn’t “essential” *eyeroll* but it got the job done. Definitely makes my nostril look sexier. I still have many needles, jewelry and time left so I’m gonna see what else I can pierce to slow down the TSA line next time I travel.

Jrenee2001: The kit was helpful i followed the youtube videos before and used the clamps to help numb the area before piercing. The only downside was the jewlery would not fit through the needle. So i had to take the needle out and use an earring to make sure it dosen't close. As well i had to take the corkscrew jewlery and cut the end to make it straight then i was able to use it. But other then that i loved the results.

lilylily: (Disclaimer: Yes my face/nose is greasy & my nostril is traumatized looking lol my apologies. Also this kit does not serve a purpose for a septum piercing, which was done by a different kit previously)
I pierced my nostril and attempted both, while one went “successful” and the other was not. Successful is in quotes because it was seriously such a pain and not smooth going. The thickness of the jewelry is not the same as the diameter of the needles. I attempted to follow the jewelry all the way through but the problem is that the jewelry doesn’t fit into the needle. It lost it’s way through and it was a miserable pain trying to get the jewelry through the hole inside of my nostril. Alas, it went through. The other side, not at ALL. I’m waiting a bit for my nostril to heal before I attempt because there was so much stress put to it and is extremely sensitive. I would suggest an 18g needle for this jewelry. To add, 1/2 clamps seem unnecessary/unusable as it doesn’t accommodate the size of your nostril and feels super bulky, and if you mark the placement, you can’t see where the clamp will set (the clamps that have the cylinder shaped ends). Camryn: Everything worked out perfectly fine. The needle and the jewelry are both 20g which i thought would be fine but the jewelry did not fit in the needle so i had to just set the jewelry on the end and slide it through at the same time. I think it’s better to pierce with 18g and use 20g jewelry. but it’s fine i guess. the jewelry is much smaller than i expected but the diamonds are all good sizes. It’s good so you won’t see the nose ring on the inside of my nose. 😊
