I didn't use the provided screws because I didn't want to screw it into my brick or the window frame. I simply screwed a length of 1 by 3 onto it extending it a little into the room and then used the weight of the air conditioner to keep it in place. I had to put some pieces of wood into the grooves of the window frame so the weight of the air conditioner didn't damage it.

The screw doesn't fit in the hole to hold the thing together, it took very long to install because of cheaply made parts. I would return it if it didn't require additional bolting down to my window. Overall a huge disappointment

I’m not handy so I had someone else install it. Installation seemed fairly easy (for him) and the brackets provided the proper support and balance needed for the 3 window air cons. Seems built for durability. Construction/material of the brackets seemed solid. Arrived quickly and with no damage to items. There was a level built in with the brackets to ensure it was properly positioned. Only thing is, the screws the brackets came with were not the right ones for concrete window ledges. Good thing our friend had screws meant for drilling into concrete. Aside from that minor issue, the price was very reasonable without compromising quality! Happy with my purchase!
