Mike: Unfortunately, the bottle leaked and almost a quarter of it was wasted.

The colour is lovely, though the shimmer is best with a nib size 1.5mm and above. If that’s a deciding factor.

I’ve been using a 1.1mm broad nib and I love the way it flows across the page.

Mike: I love everything about this ink. The bottle, the wax seal even the cap is nice. The ink is beautiful colour and the shimmer adds the extra touch.

Adam Machanic: This is my first foray into "sheening" ink, and I bought this pretty much just to play with. It's pretty interesting stuff all in all.

Packaging is really nice! The bottle looks very cool on my desk. Filling from the bottle was fine but as it's a bit wide at the base I'm wondering about how I'll get the last 10mL or so into my pen. (Will be a while before that happens.)

I know that the output from this ink depends highly on both nib type and paper. I'm using primarily a fude nib on a Rhodia pad, the latter of which may not be optimal, but I'm definitely able to see a lot of color variation, including some deep reds around the edges and in more saturated areas. The overall main color is a really beautiful green and the gold shimmer is there but subtle enough that I wouldn't be embarrassed to sign a document with this ink.

Dry time is a bit longer than I'd like, which I believe is to be expected with these types of inks. One complaint is that I'm getting a decent amount of feathering. The fude nib can feed out a lot of ink, but even some of my finest lines look a bit blurrier around the edges than I'd expect. It's not awful, and I'm not seeing any bleeding...

L'inchiostro è molto liquido, non è denso come altri inchiostri in circolazione, quindi un paio di appunti: attenzione quando si scrive con i pennini da calligrafia, ci si ritrova con tutto l'inchiostro che scende sul foglio nel giro di un secondo, se non ci si fa attenzione.
