Amazon Customer: Purchased this product after reading reviews. It did come very compressed & wrinkled when taken out of the plastic bag. It was not useable in the state it was delivered. I used my steamer on it & it worked like a charm. I did have to take it outside & used my ironing board to drape it over as there was 15 feet X 2 sides to steam. The water sits on the Dacron for a bit or drips on the ground. Left it spread over my island to completely dry out. Not a fun or fast job but it plumped up beautifully & is now ready to go. Should come with instructions to use a steamer.

Shaun Cudmore: The product is not as advertised! Received just over 4 metres and was approximately 1/4 inch thick as opposed to the 1/2 inch thickness advertised. Very dissatisfied with the product.

battman78: For anyone who does upholstery, this product is used to go over your foam to smooth out the edges and fill the upholstery. This product was so scrunched in the package that it was permanently wrinkled and not good enough to give a smooth look. Totally bummed!

Mr L.: Shrink wrapping means once unrolled and unfolded there are significant crease marks in the wadding. These might relax out over time but somewhat disappointing.
Will buy rolled product from fabricland next time.

michelle: I'm one of those out of the box fellers. I watched a couple DIY videos on how to utilize poly quilt batting to either create a sponge filter or replacement filter for very cheap in a fish tank.
For the price you get roughly twice the amount as you would from was mart. The density isn't so thick that it cannot polish and filter the aquarium water correctly and most of all, Even for my 8 fish tanks there is probably enough batting here for 4 years.
Buying new tank filters for 8 tanks for 4 years would be ball park around $330.

benjamin bannister: I was recommended quilt batting as a possible solution for refilling my couch's padding. The edge cushioning on my couch had been worn down where you could feel the wood underneath (which is not comfortable), and I needed to add some sort of cushioning back in it and this is what I got.

This product comes vacuum-sealed and will fluff up once opened. It seemed a bit thin to me, but you can fold it up and layer it to make it thicker for your needs. I opened up my couch and put four layers of quilt batting in. After I put my couch back together, it feels nice and fluffy again, and no one would ever know the difference.

A note on sizing: I'm not sure if it's how this product is packed, but the edges are not cut straight. If you're looking for straight edges on all sides you won't find it here. This isn't really an issue depending on how you intend to use the batting.

If you need something to refill your couch cushioning, this is one solution! Recommended.
