Paul W.: Used these for drilling holes for running romex. They work amazingly well on solid wood, and the screw at the front drags them forwards with barely any force. The only situation where you have to apply significant force is when going through plywood, because the screw will strip the last bit of wood right before exiting. Despite that, these perform infinitely better than my spade bit set, and saved me immense amounts of time and effort during my project. Furthermore, they barely show any wear, and I expect to get good use from them for many years to come.

Angela F.: Irwin is a great quality brand. This 3-piece pack is good value and very convenient to use, especially for electricians needing to drill a quick hole here and there, now and then. The triple auger threading makes for fast and easy drilling. Also comes in a more expensive pack with a plastic molded case, but I personally keep these in a tool box or chest until I need them. I actually bought a couple more Irwin speedbor bits at a big discount at a big-box DIY store as well. I recommend this product and brand.
