Tom & Emily: I usually purchase two or three of these sets per year. I am very hard on my tools and do not always use the proper bit for the material I am drilling. For example I recently installed a fireplace screen, that required drilling through a steel plate then into a brick behind the plate. These bits are not the appropriate tool for the job however They are what I used. These do a good job drilling through steel and wood. I do not often break them but I dull them regularly.

Ranperre: I love this drill. The torque setting is an especially great feature for assembling furniture or something that typically says “no power tools” you can drive acres in so quickly and not strip them if you set the torque properly. The battery isn’t the best Dewalt has, but it give this drill plenty of power and lasts for quite a while before needing a recharge. Very happy with this purchase.

Hago tallerismo así que estas brocas son muy idóneas para perforar metales no muy gruesos, maderas, plásticos y metales no ferrosos. Como vienen recubiertas con un toque de titanio, si buscan perforar metales muy duros y les dan batalla a tipo industrial; se las van a acabar. ¿Se pueden afilar? Sí, siempre y cuando se sepa, pero buscando que el titanio no esté desaparecido, pero al afilar, seguramente se perderá ese recubrimiento. Como yo trabajo más sobre madera y ocasionalmente metales no muy gruesos, estas brocas serán su delicia. ¡Suerte!

Matt: I like these drill bits so far, I can tell they are high quality. I’m perplexed by the box design though. The box could be much smaller, there’s lots of wasted space inside. It matters to me because I have little space in my tool drawers. However, I like the stacking design of the box. Overall very happy with this purchase so still 5 stars.
