Alex Hall: I recently began getting tools for myself. Had been borrowing them from people or using worn out hand-me-downs for many years and decided to splurge on something better. After watching a few comparison videos on youtube, this model emerged as a good general purpose and high price to value tool.
A general recommendation I saw was to have a 'good tool' on hand but then use a moderately good tool for routine work. That's where this model comes in. It's inexpensive, but pretty high performance. Bites into whatever you're gripping and generally doesn't let go until you want it to. Not quite the highest level of performance, but if I wear out this tool I don't feel too bad about it due to the low price. Highly recommended.
