Wayne: I'd consider these clamps to be of moderate strength and solid quality. They aren't quite as robust as some of the older Irwin clamps but they are very serviceable and useful.

The Walrus: I had 2 of these mini bar clamps already, but wanted more for a cabinet project.

Nothing sophisticated about them, but they do the job. Some design changes in the new version, a bit more beefy and lost the removable rubber pads.

If you need to hold something small or lightweight in place, this is a good option.

John D. Baloga: These are not the cheapest clamps you can buy but they are the highest quality that I found for one hand clamps. The clamp faces have a rubber cap of some type that sheds dried on glue. So no need to worry about squeeze out on the clamp. These clamps last a lifetime.

bbkatt: These are the most wonderful clamps! SO easy to use, sturdy, and are staying in the somewhat awkward place I am clamping after gluing. I opted for this brand over some unknown brands that may not have measured up...but, that's just my opinion.
Could not wait to use them and am SO very happy withthis purchase.

Amazon Customer: These quick release/trigger clamps work quite well. Note: they are NOT HEAVY DUTY - if you use them on a piece of stock that you are creating a lot of vibration on like what happens with hammering, then you should use the traditional screw-type G clamps, C clamps or the heavy duty ones IRWIN provides. In my experience they provide just enough clamping force to create widening joints (sticking boards together along the longer edge to create a wider board), such that when sanded the joint is hardly visible, but a heavy duty clamp always works better here.
Cons:
1) The metal part does show signs of rust and that can be fixed with some WD-40 and fine metal sand paper.
2) The release mechanism works well but that metal part can hurt the finger when pressed and with long use it can make the finger sore. It would be better if it were made of a tough plastic or the metal covered with a plastic sleeve.
