Beverlee Tedford: I bought a set of these for my boyfriend for Christmas and he absolutely loves them. They are super easy to tighten and easy to release. These are also reversible so you can push things apart or pull it tight. My boyfriend uses them a lot and asked for another set for his birthday. Highly recommend.

D. Hess: Made this purchase to re-glue the seam in the top of a kitchen table. Needed the extra width offered by joining both clamps. Put the two together and tried to clamp the table together, no go. Not strong enough to close the seam. Probably my fault, didn't know the table would need more than 300lbs pressure to close.

D. BAKERD. BAKER: 22 year-old cabinet door (36"X22") snapped off. The portion of the frame to which the hinges were attached remained in place but the remainder broke away along with a few large splinters. The cabinet maker had used only a dab of wood glue at each corner of the frame and it deteriorated over the years until it failed. Purchased these bar clamps along with Franklin Titebond II dark wood glue, also sold on Amazon. I removed the remaining section of the cabinet frame from the hinges holding it in place and, to it glued the splinters, holding them in place with hand clamps until the glue set. Then I glued the entire cabinet door together using the Jorgensen 24",medium duty bar clamps, in the 2-pack sold here, to bring all the pieces together snugly. After waiting 12 hours to ensure the glue cured, I reattached the cabinet door, covering any scratches with Old English liquid scratch remover (dark wood). The result is shown in the photo. Good as new.
