Amazon Customer: Hard to put together. Easily comes apart. Two gate locks are easily opened by the dog. Even with the rubber stoppers provided in which there's not enough for all of the panels, the unit still moves around. The height of the pen really should be a bit taller even for puppies of 2 lb. I worry that my 2 lb papillon can climb and or jump over the top.

Karen MKaren M: I’m only giving 4 stars because the plastic is light weight and had to buy stabling feet to keep boxer puppy from crawling over since it moves easily on carpet. It’s not foldable, so keep in mind you can only fold a maximum of two panels together, but the panels do snap together very easily. I do love the doggie door that is easy to lock and unlock and works out great now that my boxer puppy is 4 months and I need him to walk in and out by himself. I just leave the door open and when he’s tired, he walks in and goes to sleep. I bought the cover separately to give extra security from puppy crawling out now that he’s getting taller. I would recommend buying the 34” high for a larger dog, and also purchase the stabling feet and the cover sold separately on Amazon. I had to do a lot of research to find the correct cover that would fit this playpen.

tracy: I was very flimsy in any shape other than octagon. Considering how many times I go in and out of the pen for puppy care, I need a human gate.

Jennifer: I have a great dane puppy who outgrew two crates and I needed something to contain him at night that he could stretch out in, as we were still potty training him. So I bought this, and it did the trick. I would not recommend it for a strong puppy for really anything other than overnight sleeping, if the dog is pretty good about being locked up and won't fight it. He jumped on it once and could have easily blown through the whole thing, it is super, super light -weight. That said, I'd definitely use it again with a large puppy for the same purpose. It doesn't really "fold up," by the way. Each panel detaches separately, and you can stack them. When they are snapped together, you can maneuver them into multiple shapes, which I really liked. Oh - the DOOR on the one panel is really small. I was thinking one panel would act like a door, but no - the door is built into a panel, and it's maybe halfway up. My dane puppy outgrew the door before he outgrew the kennel, which was also a bit of a bummer, but we made it work. Really, by the time he couldn't squeeze under the door anymore, he was pretty much housebroken and done with it. He DID like this, as a den. He was very comfortable in...

Sharon Hill: I like it but everytime I go out I put my dog in it. You can't fold it it comes apart.
So everytime I want to go out I have to put it all together. Sometimes I am in a hurry and it is a pain to put it all together.

Angela: So far it works great for our cockapoo puppy. Large enough that we can put her bed and food and toys inside (we are currently using 6 of the 8 panels) and light enough that I can collapse it and take it outside if I need her to stay in a certain area. Not sure this play pen would be the best idea for a big, strong dog; I imagine they could just push it over or collapse it if they really wanted to. I am disappointed however, that I was only given 8 rubber stoppers for the bottom. There should have been 16 sent (there are holes for 2 on each panel).
