Hex D.: So the bottom screws on and I found a spring with some cotton type material when after I loaded it putting the top back on pushed the spring which then compresses the cotton causing the lighter fluid to squeeze out the bottom....it's made from some alloy metal that doesn't form a very secure grip and so the lighter fluid just presses out the bottom. Long story short you should soak the wik outside of the container first, then add just enough fluid to wet the cotton-- maybe even pull it out the bottom and wet it that way, and put it back in...just to set it up, rather than end up with the stuff leaking out. Better yet find a gasket that will fit....although in the directions, which due maybe to translation issues are a bit on the odd side, it says you can use gasoline, and to soak the cotton in oil--since they can't send animal fat in the mail. Since I don't want to cause a small explosion lighting a cigarette I've decided to go with lighter fluid.

Aaron S: The item looks great and it worked great. while i was practicing light the match for this weekends camping trip the flint came out! I tried to put it back in its insert but the piece didnt seem to fit. Not so happy with that but i have spare flint that came along with another fire starter kit.. lets hope it works! lol

CLC: I recently bought a new car and lost the lighter I keep in my glovebox when transferring everything over from the old car to the new car. I’ve been hunting around for keychains and have grabbed a few, but this style kept coming back to my mind and I finally bit the bullet.

It was a smart buy because now I always have fire with me in the event of an emergency! Having the match style lighter means the lighter fluid won’t be too frozen to work like a lighter so it’s reliable. Being a keychain design means I’ll never lose it so another point for reliability.

If you’re like me and must have a source of fire for emergency heat, this is a great choice.

Aaron: While I wait to pull the trigger on a Touch Tip Table Lighter I purchased this little ditty. The finish is solid and the components seem well-made. It strikes and lights easily. If they made a Touch Tip Table version I'd buy it.
