RachelB: Definitely worth it! This is the second most-loved book my kid has (besides the 100 animals book by the same author). Simple pictures, appealing colors. The book is pretty sturdy too.

Vanessa Pereira: First of all I'd like to say that the idea of the book is good. The word choice is great and better yet the art is impeccable! Really cute and colorful.
BUT
There's some problems with it that need improvement and that make this book a bad choice at the moment of my review.
1- The page material is extremely thin which makes it impossible or really difficult for a toddler to handle it and read through it by himself. My son have many other paperboard books that he loves to read and he keep looking at each page. With this one this is impossible. Please if the target audience are toddlers this has to change
2- the material is unorganized. You see lions and bubbles on the same page and even as an adult get confused. Imagine a toddler who is starting to learn words? Animals should be put together then fruits then items etc.
Other than that I liked it but as I mentioned my son can only see the images if I show it to him, due to the thin and slippery material used on the pages

Kate Alexander: Instantly upon opening this book my 2 year old began to “read.” He recognized the beautifully done illustrations, I loved pointing out the vocabulary/sight words to go with them and going a step further making text to self and text to world to the words. My son was so proud of himself when we was reading the book to me. Every night we do a few more pages before bed and it’s been rewarding to see him recognize words I never knew he did (like keys) that I can’t wait to start this book with my second as he gets older. This isn’t just a book for children to memorize, but one to really learn and grown from and with. I have big plans to do expansion activities with the book, make more connections and continue to grow with my child. The author did an amazing job!

Unknown: I love everything about this book. From the variety of words, the adorable pictures, and the many uses it has- I can not recommend it enough. I have loved reading this to my 7 month old to help expand the words he has been introduced to. It is so open ended! I also LOVE that Jayme chose to only put 2 pictures per pages. Sometimes books can be so visually stimulating- but this allows your child to focus on the word and the picture that corresponds! Then my 3 year old has LOVED this book independently. I have loved watching her read this book to her toddler, use her imagination as she goes through the pictures, and it has been fun to play games like "I spy" using the book! Seriously you CAN NOT find a better book at this price point that targets so many age groups and so many skills! I MUST have!

Arun: I wish they made it in board form! I would pay double or triple as my kid has ripped several pages by accident.
Overall I give this book a 9.999/10. You can't go wrong with it. If you work with your kid ~30 minutes a day you can get them to tell you all of these and they'll be halfway to 200 words/2 years old. It's definitely nice because there's enough space to right notes onto as well.
I've written on all the pages with the names of items in different languages that we speak in our family. It definitely was well designed to include large spaces for note-taking (even if that wasn't originally intended).
