Intex 15ft x 48in Easy Setup Swimming Pool Kit

Careful shopper: This is not easy to set up. Took a whole day. The ladder that came with it is awful. Had to buy another ladder that was more sturdy. If you are overweight you will not be able to use the ladder. I am 4ft9in and 157 lb and I had a hard time using the ladder. The pool itself is Okay but not the best. Just have to be careful not to lean over the sides. It's not the best in the world but it is good for cooling off in the hot summer days. If you can I would recommend buying a higher quality pool in you can afford it.

Shello: I purchased the pool in March but did not actually set it up until late June when the weather began to be swimming weather. We watched all the videos read all the instructions before we opened it up. Our first set up was per the video and written instructions. It was not successful because there were so many wrinkles in the bottom that we could not manage to undo, plus we discovered that the place chosen in our yard was not truly level. So we dumped the water and tried again. The second time was easier because the pool had been in the heat from the sun making the pool materials easier to move and manipulate. We also ordered a bigger, thicker tarp to go under the pool because the one that it came with was too small and flimsy. We finally got the pool up and running in a better location for the leveling and for the electrical connections to the filter. BTW, we had to use a high-quality extension cord because the electrical cord on the filter is very short. We have enjoyed the pool very much however the inflatable ring around the top which truly holes the water inside the pool, has had a slow leak from the beginning. We have to air it up almost every day and by now I'm really tired...

WSH TX: I'll start my review by letting you know how my experience ended, with me taking a knife to this pool and cutting it up into chunks that would fit in a garbage bag.

I have a large back patio that I have been setting up smaller (12') easy set pools on every year for the last 5 years. We had a 14' pool a couple of years ago so I thought what's the big deal with a 15'. Well, what I forgot until it was too late was that the 14' was the Intex pool that has a metal frame and legs, not an easy set.

So to properly prepare for the pool I went out and bought a large tarp. Then I purchased and spread out fifty 50lb. bags of sand and leveled it to the best of my ability. Keep in mind that I'm starting with a patio, not uneven dirt, so I'm already a leg up, RIGHT? The patio does have a slight slope toward the yard to allow for water run off and this is what I was compensating for with the sand. Everything was meticulously prepped and i was ready to for the pool.

When I unpacked the pool I quickly realized what a huge unwieldy mass it is. When you look at the pictures with it all filled up it looks great. Now imagine it with no water in it and the sides flopped all over...

Desiree JacobsDesiree Jacobs: I purchased this pool for just myself , I'm 25 no kids around , but I work outside in Sunny south Florida doing lawn maintance so after a long day of work I've been dying for a relaxing float in the nice pool , but with the mortgage can't afford to put in a in ground pool , sooooo, so far so good ! I set it up on a cement slab I have off the patio so I didn't have to level the ground or worry about the lawn care around the pool , and it recommends to not use a extension cord and if I put it in the yard I would've had to use extension cord for power for sure , but it is on it's way to being filled up at the moment , ( using two hoses ) arrived with all the products listen , tarp , pool , pool cover , ladder , pump with filter and with all hoses . All you need to assemble is a Phillips screw driver , and a hair dryer to blow up the ring , Separate I purchased a skimmer and chlorine tablet floater , takes a little longer than 15 minutes for sure to get set up . You need to get everything pulled out , laid out , does come with books to follow directions and a video if your more visual like myself , overall so far great product . Didnt arrive damaged or torn . Very happy with the price...
