Barbara D.: This battery was easy to install and solved my weak/dead ADT battery problem quickly. Unfortunately it took a couple of days to arrive and I didn’t have much of any warning when the old one died. Also, it wasn’t easy to find a place to recycle this old battery. Home Depot and other convenient places will only take the rechargeable ones.

Robert Branch: I replaced the battery in my portable PA system. To test the battery life I ran the radio for 4 days straight. It still showed almost 50% battery life. Better than the original?

Tyler Hinkle: Got the dreaded “low system bat” alarm at 2:30am. Ordered this battery from Amazon with 2 day delivery. Installation was a snap on my Honeywell Vista 20P alarm system. No issues. Alarm trouble cleared within an hour charging. Would buy again.

Anonymous: These batteries were used as a replacement for a CYBER POWER UPS system, model CST135XLU (initially purchased at Costco).
After a few years, the batteries do wear out after some occasional switching. On the cyberpower website, a pair of new ones is about a hundred dollars (the cost of a new unit), while these were much less. I chose the brand INTERSTATE, as I have had a positive experience with that brand in car batteries, also purchased at Costco.
Batteries swapped out, and did a load test with satisfactory results. The plugs on the battery are a slightly narrower than the ones on the initial batteries, however, the plugs in the unit will fit on the new Interstate batteries snugly without issue.
Also, these were shipped in a less than optimal way: two heavy batteries in a tiny padded priority mail envelope with a single layer of bubble wrap around each one. With how rough the packaging looked, I was sure they would have been damaged, however, no damage, with the exception of a few light scuffs which did not affect operation - I still don't think it would be a good idea to continue to ship these in this fashion.

James R. Collins: I have always had very good luck with Interstate batteries. In a security system this type battery is only for backup when a person has lost their electrical service. There is seldom any draw down and recharge going on. Thus, a bettery should last several years in a security system. But, a security system will recognize that an old battery has eventually gone totally dead because it is effectively a short circuit and the battery problem light will not go off until a new battery is installed. I am happy with my purchase.
