Saphira Tran: It's interesting to me but not my cats.

Leiko Burningbear: Traded one of these flopping fish for a haircut. (My hairdresser wanted it for a relative's new kitten.) It's a fun toy. Easy to charge. Bit of a gamble due to cats either loving or hating it. I've yet to meet a cat that didn't have a strong opinion one way or the other. My hairdresser's relative's cat loves it. My own cat hates it. (I turned off the flop feature, so now it's just a motionless fish toy that sometimes gets played with.)

Steve: I kept seeing ads for this or similar product on FB. Figured it was just one of those gimmicky cat toys that I'd buy, and the cat would lose interest and enjoy the packaging more. Surprisingly, cat enjoyed this toy and actively would seek it out. The thing is, I have hard wood flooring in a high rise building. The thumping of the tail drives my downstairs neigbhors nuts; they are nice about it though. Of course ignoring their occasional barking dogs helps. Our playtime with the fish has emerged into special play times. I have the cat play with this toy on a bed or the sofa. Keep the toy tucked away and every days or so, bring the toy out. This has kept the uniqueness of the toy fresh. But, it sure reduces the noise in the middle of the night of the fish tail banging on the hardwood floors. Bottom line, this is a fun, interactive toy. The rechargable USB battery is a huge plus. It does hold a charge for a good while. For those of you living in a multi story building, please be aware of the noise it does make for your neighbors below.

Alanna Burke: Ok, this thing is great and I’ve only had it a couple hours. I bought it because we have a foster kitten who is coming up on his first birthday and he doesn’t have any playmates because our cats are old and he’s getting destructive and bored. I saw an ad for this and immediately knew we needed it.
I put it down and all of the cats in the house, plus our dog, surrounded it. It took a few minutes, but the kitten started smacking it. And then he was off. He likes to pick it up by the tail (which inevitably sets it off). It’s great. One of my older cats, who is 15, is pretty interested, and I have a feeling that our other older cat and the kitten’s feral momma will be taking turns when no one is watching.
I’m glad it came charged so we didn’t have to wait to play with it. After a few hours of intermittent ply, Mr Fishy died, and had to be revived in a safe space where his lifeline could not be eaten. I love that it’s USB chargeable.
I’ve had cats my whole life, and fostered hundreds. This toy is great and I wish it had come into my life sooner! If you have cats, buy one of these and give it a shot.
I can’t speak yet to its durability or...
