Amazon Customer: Our cat is very energetic and demanding (we have played with him for 6 hours continuously in shifts before) and loves new toys... for a short while. Got this one since it was cheap. He's taken to it quite a bit and has actually been playing with it a few weeks. Not his absolute favorite toy, but it's up there. I wish the handle was longer since getting him to gallop across the room is hard when you can only reach out a few feet with it... but we make do. Also surprised at the durability, at first I thought it would tear apart or pill really quick with the heavy use and low price, but it's holding up fine.

FancyThat!: I don’t understand the appeal of this toy, but my cat is in love with it. She drags it around at all hours of the day, begging someone to play with her. I find this thing on my couch, in the shower, in my bed. I can’t escape it. If I wouldn’t feel so bad I would get rid of it just to know peace again.

Diedre: I have six cats and most of them are playful creatures who would pounce on anything that moves. However, my 12-year-old rescue seems to be an exception to this. We need to keep this particular toy away from her, or else she would roam around the house in the middle of the night, dragging the stick behind her, and meowing loudly, hoping someone would play with her. Although my other cats and one dog absolutely love this toy, it tends to break easily and needs to be replaced every three months. The stick usually gets chewed off by the dog, while the toy itself tears occasionally due to the cats getting their claws caught in it. But I will continue to buy the toy because of how much they all love it.
