Instant Pot Pro 10-in-1 Multi-Functional Pressure Cooker: Slow Cook, Rice/Grain Cook, Steam, Saute, Make Yogurt, & Keep Warm

Sylvie: My husband and I have had two Instant Pots since last April, about a year and a half ago. We first got one, and then the other, after seeing how easy and fun it was to use. Having one to cook the main dish and the other to do, say, the rice is so helpful! They have truly been a game-changer for our household. We may often have dinner at unpredictable times and I love that we can throw together a recipe beforehand and have it safely keeping warm in the pot until we're ready. It also seems easier to think of what to cook with the Instant Pot, since there are so many recipes around. We have become fans of the Pressure Luck YouTube channel and books for delicious and clearly-described recipes, as well as fun presentation. We literally use it every week!

We got our daughter one, who was afraid of cooking. She has been using it for several months and said that even though she always overcooks her chicken on the stove, it seems to always come out perfectly in the Instant Pot! It has helped give her confidence to experiment with recipes.

Book LoverBook Lover: We purchased this product at the end of July 2023. Needless to say, we love the Instant Pot. Sometime in September, we encountered the first problem with it. In the Pressure cook mode, it displayed the Pr SE error, and all the lights on the dial were flashing. A technician arrived after a couple of days and fixed it. All was well, until yesterday, 8 Oct 2023, when the same issue showed up again. Even though it was a Sunday, a service engineer responded to my Whatsapp message, and on Monday morning he promised that his senior, Mr Jafar Khan, would call me later in the day. Promptly at the appointed time, Mr Khan called and explained to me that the error was due to a coding issue, but there was an easy fix. He taught me on a video call the few simple steps, and bingo, everything was as good as ever. We all know that with Electronic products, it is a draw of luck. But when we get excellent after-sales service, then we feel assured that the purchase is a good investment.

North Sunny: This is still the best pressure cooker available on the market. Its features meet my expectations. I use this to cook steam vegetables, rice, beans, and meat. I use the delay start function a lot, so I can set it and go to work. When I come back home, the meal is ready. In addition to the preset types, I also use the general "pressure cook" a lot. For example, I use this to cook hard-boiled egg. The result is perfect every time.
The problem I encountered is condensation of water on the lid running out and dripping to the table when the cooking is done and the pot is not opened for a while. Water accumulated on the inside of the lid will flow to the edge because the lid is shaped like a dome - the center is higher than the edge. It is easy to solve this problem, though. They just need to make the lid flat, or even with the center lower than the perimeter. They can also solve this problem by adding a "water catch ring" right before they get to the sealing gasket so it drips back into the pot.
I like the improvement they made to the way the pressure can be released. Previously, you need to turn the pressure valve to the release position to let the air out. People often forget...

SuzanKenSuzanKen: Instant Pot IP-DUO Plus60 9-in-1 Multi-Functional Pressure Cooker, 6 Qt - I've wanted a PC for a long time and have done a lot of research. I was originally leaning towards the PPCXL because that's what my cousin has, but I did some more research and ended with this one, waiting until the Duo Plus came out. So, since I'm the 4th reviewer, here's some of the thought process I went through in deciding to get the DUO Plus and also some thoughts on the IP vs the PPCXL and also other considerations on accessories, size, etc. So far, I've only had it a few days, but overall satisfied and plenty of online support for recipes and helping you decide the post PC for your needs.

**Why I went with the Instant Pot (IP) duo60 Plus -
Three new preset buttons - cake, egg, sterilize. It also had the yogurt function which other IP do, but not some of the other makes.
Large LCD Screen with Digital Display
Mute button for those beeps in the night when cooking yogurt etc.
Plus / Minus button for both time and pressure
Keep Warm Selector can be selected to on or off at anytime.
Delay start of 24 hours and keep warm for 10 hours.
