Julz: This is the best designed splash guard! I got this because my Kohler version kept clogging from small debris. This design doesn’t let small debris clog and it’s the perfect thickness to allow larger debris through. Highly recommended.

As for noise level it’s pretty much the same.

KenSKenS: I purchased this to replace the original InSinkErator 46 baffle which was beginning to perish. This was not as simple as many of the reviews have you believe in that for this model (and maybe others) the old baffle does not just pull out, at least mine did not. Not wishing to drop the unit from the sink and all that involves I found that a sharp knife to cut around the existing baffle close to the fitting then just push the new baffle into place works a treat. It looks good, works as well as the original and can be popped out to clean and to access and remove anything that may have challenged the InSinkErator's abilities.

RMWARZ: Our garbage disposal has been running reliably for decades, but over time, the rubber drain insert has deteriorated. This replacement insert fits the drain perfectly. This is the second one we have ordered to replace the original baffle. The first replacement baffle lasted about 10 years. I don’t expect this one to last as long because the rubber does not seem as thick as the rubber of the first replacement.

Curtis: This was a replacement for one that started to smell. I cleaned it several time and it didn’t work the smell would come back several day later. One I replace it the smell went away. It isn’t as firm as the one it replaced but food scraps fall into it better.

Fredrik: Soft (thin) rubber, easy to push through food waste! It is loud though, much more noise when operating the food waste disposer (Insinkerator Evolution 200) compared to with the original one that came with the product.
