Andréa: Picking where we left off in book 1, we keep going on Arabella’s journey with her guys to avoid a war.
The guys are getting closer to Arabella now that they know who she is and I’m here for it. Still as possessive and unhinged as before I couldn’t choose which one I prefer (though at the moment Saint is in the lead).
Great plot, great writing, amazing and lovable characters… an very enjoyable combination that keeps me on my toes. Especially with that ending. So many surprises left !

Paige: This book hasn’t disappointed me as I’ve been moving through this series, if anything it’s made me more excited for what is to come in the next book! If you have been considering reading this series I would highly recommend it!

CMarie: I thought I loved the first one, I really loved this one; it almost feels like an inadequate word to be honest.
I cannot wait until the 3rd book. I absolutely love the guys. I love how unique and different they all are, I love their love and devotion for Arabella, I love their possessive and sometimes obsessive ways. And I love how she accepts them, wholeheartedly. The steamy scenes were majorly spicy and the plot is so interesting, I didn’t want to put the book down for anything. I read it quickly over the course of the morning and if the 3rd was out I would’ve read that today too. M. Sinclair has the best, monstrous imagination and I love getting lost in the ISS world.
Despite being literal nightmares, the guys are the sweetest, most painfully cute terrors ever; I felt myself misting up a few times when they allowed themselves to be vulnerable — especially Amun and his special jewelry, Damian and his past, and Zain with his very painful former life. Razar needs to get his head out of his ass, though. I love him to pieces but the others are right, he’s just hurting himself & Arabella by denying his true nature.
I’m curious to see where things go...

Brandi S.: This book starts right where the first one ended with the institution being attacked. Arabella is just as brave and feisty in this sequel and we really get to see her take charge and hold her own against all of her mates and all the outside forces.
I loved that we got out of the institution in this one and got to see what all of her mates are like in the real world. It was also really cool getting to meet and see a variety of other nightmares. I won’t drop any names or kinds because I don’t want to spoil anything.
We definitely got a lot more action with Arabella and her mates which was great because I don’t do well with slow-burn books lol We got POVs from the guys which was awesome, especially when they had flashbacks to the past with Arabella and we got to learn more about them and how they truly feel about her and each other.
I’m still on the fence with Ashur….like I want to like him but I was already pretty pleased with the harem as it was and so I don’t know….I guess I just didn’t expect her harem to grow anymore seeing as there were already so many of them and they already try so hard not to fight about her.
That cliffhanger was...

Amanda Martin: This book was the perfect continuation to Arabella's journey with her monsters. The escalation in their personal relationships was long overdue and explosive. The way her monsters view the outside world when it comes to Arabella is sweet and unexpected.
Her continual lack of fear when presented with monsters that even her team view as dangerous is very true to her character and her personality.
Her continued acceptance of her men despite the violence that they think will drive her away is awe-inspiring and it is no wonder that Arabella keeps attracting more monsters to her side.
I can't wait to see the rest of her relationships continue to develop and how taking on the power of her men will change her in the future!

Emilie Hemenway: This book definitely was a steamy read. All that tension built up in the first book was released in this one. If you have read the first one and loved it as much as I did, than this one will blow you away.
Arabella in this book is for the very first time leaving the institute and going on a mission rather than sit on the sidelines. In the first book we never really got a glimpse of what society is like on the outside other than the MAM organization but this one showed more about how the population is.
At the end of the first book though with Saint proving Arabella can survive mating, that sets off a major change in the others and they somehow become even more dominant and alpha than they already were.
Also I just love how sweet Arabella is in how she treats other nightmares that even her team seem slightly wary of.

Alyssa Jones: I yelled when I got to the end of this book, I was not ready for it to be done. This series keeps getting better. The guys are now cluing in they can be themselves with Arabella and I can’t get enough of it. I adore these nightmares. I can’t wait to find out more about Ashur, he has me intrigued.

Angela Marie: Great story line. Bonds are beginning to be formed. And off on an adventure. Story line isn’t as strong as the first book but still good.
