Jordan: Provided same day relief for a baby with gas. After using it for 6 weeks or so we tried to take her off of it (twice), both times gas symptoms returned. YMMV

ATS9220: If you haven't used infacol for your babies you need to. It is an absolute godsend for colicky babies and when they start using it you see a massive reduction in their discomfort

Epimetheus Rex: Pros: I mean, this stuff WORKS. For us, anyway.

Cons: Any liquid with simethicone (active ingredient in Gas-X) would probably do. Check prices for the best deal, as they fluctuate. There's no solid scientific evidence that simethicone actually works, but a 2017 study showed that 94% of parents who used it agree that it helped.

Bottom line: Simethicone supposedly works by breaking the surface tension of gas bubbles in the baby's belly so they all turn into one big bubble, making them more likely to pop. I'm a veterinarian and this is roughly identical to what we do for bloated horses and cows. Works great for my newborn, too.

Rashida Tull: I tried several products to help my baby with gas and colic and nothing seem to work. I tired infacol and it worked wonders for baby almost instantly, we noticed a difference within the same day, baby was more settled, I would recommend this for colic and gas it's excellent, I don't know what I would of done without this. The only problem is that the bottle is extremely small and doesn't last long at all, however it's an excellent product.
