My elderly Mom loves Pfeffernusse cookies at Christmas. It’s difficult to find the ones covered with powdered sugar, and so I was overjoyed when I found these! The flavor and texture is very authentic. Mom is 91 now and these cookies brought her childhood back to her♥️

I bought two packages of these, one for me & one for my sister, remembering Holidays past when Pfefferneuse cookies were a household tradition. When I saw these on Amazon, I immediately ordered two packages at a cost of $10.00 each. When I received the cookies, I immediately was disconcerted by the small size of the package. Apparently ten dollars does not buy more than 8 oz of cookies. When I opened and tasted the cookies, the first thing I noticed is that the cookies were stale/ I was embarrassed to give my sister a package of these. definitely a big disappointment.
