Gman: You get all the knives you need. I have had them for about 45 days used all of them multiple times on everything from steak, Pork shoulder (8 lbs cutting down to individual servings for Food Saver, Large knife), tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, potatoes, onions, Cheese (even swiss and 2 and 4 yr old cheddar). You get what I mean, I have checked all the knives for chips or small pits, that is why I bought this set. My old cheapy set was getting pitted out (ceramic it happens, or use too). No blemishes so far but I use a bamboo cutting board (not hard plastic) and I don't try to cut through bones (bad). If you want a knife for that or cutting down small trees or for cutting frozen packages in half, I would suggest a Zyliss serrated knife it will do all of that and cut trough aluminum cans, cut up cardboard boxes, hell you might be able to cut through a steel cable with enough time (trust me I have one about $12). But what you won't have are 3 very sharp great knives for kitchen duty. Will they chip, maybe in time, but so far so good and I won't be using them to trim the trees in the backyard anytime soon.

Andros: Very nice and good quality knives. But because i was using Kyocera ceramic knives before, which i purchased first at Whole Foods Market for $60 and broke 2 out of 3 knives in two weeks, i decided to try IMORI knives which is 2x times cheaper here. The knifes came in a very nice package, much better than the other brand, and i could see that IMORI is sharp, but not as sharp as Kyocera at first try and got a bit worse after about a week of use. But at the same time, they seem stronger, not as fragile as Kyocera's. The sharpness is the only trade-off, otherwise, it's a great knifes!

Kirill B.: love these knives, very sharp and nice looking. one piece of advice for those not aware (as I was). These are ceramics knives, never apply side pressure to them (for example, don't try to crush garlic with them), the knife is easily broken when side pressure is applied, and broken pieces are sharp.

Maria Gutierrez: These are honestly the best kitchen knives I own. The quality is fantastic! They are super sharp, have perfect cut power, you can cut everything with ease, including tomatoes, no need to sharpen ever. They are super easy to clean, they never get stained even if you leave them unwashed on the sink for days. I love the blade covers, very convenient, perfect size and grip. I keep two in the original box (which is very nice and for easy storage). I recommend this product to everybody: pros and home use. Ceramics are the blade of the future today.

Bill K.: I’ve been cooking for over 45 years and these are the sharpest knives I have ever used. One issue though, their sharpness doesn’t last forever. About six to twelve months per knife, even when I am very careful. They slowly loose their sharp mess and are not for cutting things like hard cheese. You need to use the included sheathes to protect the knives, but if you do, they just seem to fall by gravity only through the ripest of tomatoes.
