Comments

Ms. Michol: Best book on birds! Good, user-friendly size, as well. Good "location of where to find birds" maps, great detailed illustrations of birds, their feather colors, and informative "personality" descriptions. I have one book in my home, as well as one in my car. Thank you!

yehaws: We’ve had the earlier version of this for years. Grandparents used an early version as well. Great birding book. Easy to use. Compact but with tons of info.

Oldbill44: Had an older version of this book. New version is just as good. Nice size, very comprehensive, exceptionally readable. Handy for car glovebox, added in binocular case, or on home table. Very fine bird guidebook.

An avid, amateur bird sleuth: I liked the layout of the book - i.e. bird groupings and concise, informative paragraphs describing each species. I also found the range maps for each bird type helpful in determining if what I was seeing in person corresponded to the possibility of that bird being in my locale.

Amy: Use for back yard identifying local birds and migrating! Live in rural south west Ontario! Best description and photos! Love this book. Purchased this as a newer version!

W: This was a gift. I have the older version and like how it explained each bird and has clear illustrations. The new version is just as good if not better .

Betty Innes: This is a great book. Not only accurate picture representation but the maps that allow one to know what bird is in your area.
