Megan: The perfect size book to keep with on the hunt. Personally I would prefer if the pages where thicker and water proof. Overall a great book for hunters.

Delivered quick and as described. Appears as though it work well in breaking up a humans shape, of their head atleast! Takes up very little room and should come in handy for fowling: Very good little book, bought in error as it's mostly American fowl but a good number cross over to UK birds. Very thorough and very informative

MarisaMarisa: The media could not be loaded.  Una excelente guía para la identificación de patos, el papel es muy delgado pero de buena calidad, para poder llevarla a campo decidí laminarla (enmicarla), y con eso quedo súper funcional y a prueba de agua.

KatieRobKatieRob: Absolutely LOVE this book!!! I'm a waterfowl monitor in Alberta, Canada (Western Canada) I'll be using this everyday, very useful and informative. It has details that are very important for identification, which weren't available in other books I've bought ("Birds of Western Canada" by David M. Bird) however, they're perfect together for having the best results when identifying.
Thank you!

Amazon Customer: A very informative book on how to learn to identify waterfowl. Great pictures and methods. A great learning tool for the beginner and a great reference tool to keep around. My only slight disappointment it that it was a bit smaller than I expected, but more so the flimsiness of the cover and pages. It is spiral bound which I do like but the pages and even cover are thin and you have to take care in using not to tear pages. Would be much better if the covers were laminated and inside pages just a little better quality paper that would be more durable for multiple use as a reference guide.

Terry Collins II: Whether an avid waterfowl hunter, a bird spotter, or just a novice outdoorsman, I think this book is very well put together and can be an asset to anyone interested in identifying waterfowl. The LeMaster Method seems well thought out and a sound method for identifying birds on the wing or on the water. My only complaint, as seems the case with many other reviewers, is the quality of the paper and binding. If this were designed to be used as a field guide it would stand to reason with me that the pages would be of a more sturdy card stock rather than the flimsy paper used, plus some sort of water-resistant coating. I didn't take off a star for the quality of the paper and binding because that does not take away the quality of the author's work. Hopefully the publisher has paid attention to the reviews, however, and produces a printing on better card stock for outdoor use.
