Connie S. Guyton: Great little grill! Just what I wanted. Makes 2 adult pancakes or 4 child size. I can keep on counter without taking so much space. Light weight but sturdy. Cooks great but don’t go by instructions, 4 is too high for pancakes. They will burn before done. Start on 2. Love it, would buy again!

WilliamWilliam: First I should say that this griddle does seem to heat quickly and that my initial use experience was positive. We have a full size griddle that we typically use but we live in an area where tropical storms (and the occasional sailboat mast) can take down the power transmission system so we now have solar power generators as backup power supplies and were looking for appliances that weren't so power hungry.

This griddle seemed to fill that particular niche need, so we ordered it. However, I have a few concerns related to representations made by the manufacturer.

The manufacturer claims on the outside of the box that the cooking area (which is the grill plate) is fully submersible. But the cleaning instructions in the User Manual specifically warn against immersing that plate! I have chosen to follow the instructions and to disregard the apparently false statement on the box.

Next, the manufacturer claims on the outside of the box that the removable drip pan and cool-touch safety base are dishwasher safe. But again the cleaning instructions warn against putting the base into the dishwasher over fears that it could warp. Again misleading information on the box....

Mr. Michael D. Covington: I don't do this very often but I thought I'd better give a heads up beware be careful and observant of the base of this unit it is just solid plastic no rubber grippers and if you're not very careful you can bump this and slide it across the counter and into the floor full of grease hot grease so take it very very slow movements around this unless you do what I did and cut some small rubber hose and put on the bottom corners if you do that it's golden no more slipping or or easily moving rubber Automotive grade vacuum tube works great I used plastic glue and hot glue gun combination to adhere we'll see how long it lasts
