Flipping Nap Time: Why am I loving this series so much? No clue! It’s just cute and the alien men are so dotting of their mates. Is it a mind blowing collection of literally works? Absolutely not! Is it a fun, easy, mindless read? Yes! Sometimes you just need a little silly, romantic alien romance in your life! Liz is a firecracker and Raashad is head over heels in love with her!

Kindle Customer: I enjoyed reading Raahosh and Liz story, the spice was spicy, the storyline is great, especially getting to see humans from an aliens point of view is fully entertaining.
But my favorite part of this series is Blue Alien discovering the secret nipple!

Shelley: Ok I adore Raahosh. He was so lonely and just needed his mate 🤣
I love how they came together and grew. I think the language barrier is still hilarious. I love how crazy she had to get to get the Ice Navi to understand her and get what she wanted.

Avidreadersbc: This is my second time rereading this series and boy do I love visiting all of my favourite characters. It's been a while so it almost feels like I am reading this for the first time again. This book is definitely steamier than I remember though. Lol .. kidding. Can't wait to read Kira's book next.
20/10 would recommend

Lidija Nyman: I had the same thought when it came to the first book in the series, but where many erotica authors struggle to balance the erotica with the actual story, Dixon manages to blend both together seamlessly. It could be easy to dismiss this story as "weird smut for weirdos" (which, I will admit, I am a weirdo who liked it), the book finds strength in its erotica scenes. I find that a lot of people tend to, quite frankly, not write sex scenes that well, but there was a certain frankness in the scenes that I found endearing.
Dixon also spent quite a bit of time building tension between the main characters as well as developing their personalities that led to the strength of the storytelling. I found myself not wanting to put it down at many points, wanting to know what would happen next.
Overall, if you don't mind some oddball monster erotica but like to spice it up with character building in the meantime, this is definitely the book for you!

Ameena: Ok so this is the second book of Barbarian Alien, at first I wasn't sure because I didn't like how liz was treating Rahosh but as time progress she did start to understand and care about him. From there I felt more invested in reading the book and really begin to enjoy it. I loved Rahosh he is the opposite of what he look like sweet caring and very lonely. I also liked how Liz fought for him. It broke my heart how he was treated. Well it's a good read I would definitely recommend it.

Pia: Liz and a group of other girls was abducted by alien slavers and as they had trouble with their spaceship, the girls were dumped on an iceplanet. But the atmosphere is somehow toxic and without a special parasite, which Liz later on calls 'cootie", the humans are doomed to die in seven days. Raahosh feels his parasite resonating as he sees the almost comatose Liz and recognizes her as his woman. He does everything in order to let Liz survive and he implements the parasite into her even so she doesn't want it and tells him, she hates him forever. When she is unconscious again, he takes her on his arms and runs with her to his secret cave. When Liz wakes up she is against everything, against Raahosh and against her "cootie" which resonates for Raahosh.
It was a good and fast read, the author kept me the whole time in suspense and I could feel with the characters, their happiness, their tage and their sadness as well. I highly recommend this book.

Angela @ Angel's Guilty Pleasures: Barbarian Alien is book two in the Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon. Here we have Liz and Raahosh story.
The world and characters Ms. Dixon has created are fascinating. Each character is unique and you can connect to them. I like the dual-POV’s. They help give us both Liz and Raahosh perspective.
We have a couple here who need to work on their communication. Raahosh is not a talker and Liz, well she talks too much. Raahosh has some deep wounds in his soul that need healing. Having a mate gives him that chance to finally heal and have a family, but it doesn't come easily. Liz puts up a fight.
The one thing I really didn’t like was Liz’s treatment of Raahosh. I dislike a heroine who will smack a hero. I get that she is frustrated with her situation and that many if not all of her choices have been taken away from her, but to treat Raahosh the way she does with her actions and words, was disappointing. It made me dislike Liz.
Finally around the 35% range Liz has a revelation and gets her ass in gear. She apologizes and gives him a chance and starts to learn about the world. Once they progress, I finally fell into the story. They have a few...
