Amazon Customer: The media could not be loaded.  This is a great purchase, they are very sturdy, easy to install, I bought 3 of them, one for the kitchen, living room and my husband's game room. They have 3 speeds, light can only be controlled by using the remote or the app, I honestly didn't have the patience to deal with the app tbh, I got them in black all 3 of them, they look rea modern and elegant, the onky thing is that u have readjust them every several weeks or 1 a month bcz they star to make a clicking sound.... though it was onky 1 of them but nope all 3 started to do it, so u need to readjust them and tighten the screws etc, they come with everything so we didn't like miss any parts and if u follow the instructions they pretty easy to to follow. Very happy with purchase good enough for the price.

bayou residentbayou resident: Definitely would buy the Hunter Aerodyne model again. Purchased at $166 on Amazon. This sleek looking (black) Aerodyne fan model is used in the main bedroom. Has a very responsive hand held remote control. Electrician also installed a wall switch for on/off during the wiring for the remodel. This fan is VERY QUIET and moves air well even at lower speeds. Have only had in use for about 3 weeks and so far it is terrific. I like to keep ceiling fans running constantly to keep air fresh and feel a breeze even if the HVAC keeps the air temp cool. Am in the deep south so I expect this fan to be running the majority of the year during the long hot spells. Plan to use in winter months too. Bought a more traditional Hunter fan model for the other bedrooms and wish I'd gotten this model instead -- the Aerodyne pleasantly surprised me --- I didn't expect to like the sleeker look as much as I do now that it's installed. Also, the Aerodyne model comes with a hand held remote and I had to buy the remote unit and have electricians install in the other bedroom fans. Builder Elite models in other bedrooms are a great fan, however it's a totally different aesthetic and operation-- the hand held...

The installation was a bit more complex than the fans I've installed previously, but not overly so. It is well worth it!

This thing moves a lot of air. Like... make sure loose papers are put away before turning it on High. It's nuts, but it's so nice.

The remote is super convenient and works without the app. No more separate wiring for fan and light. No more special switches to dim the light. Just give this bad boy a Hot, Neutral and Ground, and you're done. After proper mounting, of course.

The balancing kit is quite effective. Use it. On High the fan had a little wobble. Nothing alarming, but this can loosen screws, etc. over time. Plus, it's potentially more noisy as well as disconcerting. After balancing there's only a minute hint of imbalance and at High speed I'm confident in the fan. That's saying something, because this thing really moves on High. More so than any ceiling fan I've ever experienced.

*Edited 2023/09/21 to clarify remote works without the app, and that the fan was purchased and not through VINE.

Eric H.: The media could not be loaded.  Everything about this fan is great but the humming/vibrating type of sound when turned on. It sounds like electricity powering motor to run. Why did I know it's not normal? because I have 2 hunter celling fans installed in other bedroom.

Es bonito y es silencioso, tuve el problema de bamboleo pero bien un kit para corregir el problema, tarde en poder encontrar la mejor posición pero al final quedo y se corrigió el problema.
Lo sincronice con Alexa, solo que la respuesta no es tan rápida como otros dispositivo y en ocasiones no responde. Pero en general me gusto.

Christina Heinroth: I’ve purchased 4 of these fans for a home I recently moved into and I’m planning to purchase a 5th soon. I paid to have them installed so I cannot speak on ease of installation. One of the 4 fans from my initial purchase had a light that was not working. I returned and received a new one without any trouble at all. The fans are easy to use, the fan speed options are great and they are very quiet fans. I’ve enjoyed them. I’ve purchased other brands in the past and have not been happy with the performance. Hunter has not let me down! Also, the fan is very nice to look at. It’s modern but not too modern. The matte black goes perfectly in my home.

Shopitup: The app is not perfect, but HomeKit sure is. If you use Apple then this fan is quite the catch at a rather crazy price for how great it is. The fan is ridiculously quiet for the jet thrust power it kicks out. Of note: it is a larger fan wingspan suited to decent sized rooms. The remote is great with only a couple buttons, so fumbling in the dark you can find the light right away. I got a returned one (for a wonderful discount) and it came repacked well with all hardware new to ensure no missing pieces (thank you Hunter). All in all, the app crashes occasionally, but if you use HomeKit this doesn’t affect anything at all.
