I love this waffle maker so much I had to buy one for my sister, it will automatically shut off when the waffle is done cooking.
The one thing that I do not like, is when you put too much waffle batter in, it will overflow creating a mess in the countertop. If you clean it immediately after, it is easy to clean.

I've had one of those big, heavy waffle makers that make 4 waffles and it's been very hard to use because of my Rheumatoid Arthritis. So, for several years I haven't made waffles. When I saw this little waffle maker, I read a lot of reviews before I bought it. It was worth every single cent!! It makes the perfect size waffle. It's easy to clean up and very easy to store because it's small. And most of all, it's lightweight and take it from someone who has Rheumatoid Arthritis that's bad especially in my hands, this waffle maker is perfect in every way! I love it!
