Part Time Ninja:
Lightweight, effortless operation, quiet, basic upright. Minimal features, could use a light, but not sure if I will miss it. Less features, less things that break or need replacement. Not sure what exactly makes it commercial rated, the heavier duty cord doesn’t get warm from prolonged use maybe? The light plastic body and wheels may not withstand abuse, accidental drops etc, guessing it is trade off for ease of operation.
Shipping and boxing issues- The first vacuum I ordered was a “used-very good” unit, described comes in original box. It was not, it was poorly re-boxed in a thin Amazon box with only paper stuffing. Arrived with a broken wheel and plastic base. I sent it back, got a quick credit, and reordered a second one. This time I chose the option of free double boxing. Unit arrived intact, put it to use immediately, very satisfied with the ease of operation. Buy it.

HSHK Manager: Poor design, parts fell apart after 5 uses and no support from manufacturer. Sending both machines back!

Dan Maduff: Our beloved Bissell Bagless vacuum died over the holidays. We were looking for a solid replacement while money is very tight and research indicated that bagged vacuums do a better job of capturing more dust and dirt. Compared to FAR more expensive models in an actual vacuum store (like Riccar and Miele which I demo'd) this Hoover does an excellent job - maybe better. The suction is very strong, hose attachment is secure and works well. This Hoover is really light and the action on it is light -- it's easy to maneuver. The touch-free bag drop feature is great but new bags are a little finicky to get in just right. My biggest gripe would be putting the power cord away. The hooks for wrapping the cord were obviously NOT well thought out because you quickly run out of space to wrap it and end up circling around the hose or just letting some of the power cord hang. It's annoying but certainly not a deal breaker. Sure it's made from cheap plastic and does not appear to be "commercial grade tough" but for what you are spending, this is one hell of a vacuum cleaner.

Bill lount: After having and returning two other Hoover models, this one seems to be good. Good suction, and a nice long cord.

Michelle: We run a house cleaning company and loved lightweight Hoovers in the past, so we decided to try these after Bissell made some terrible changes on their lightweight vacuums we were so happy with. This one has great suction, that is about the only plus. The crews quickly hated how you remove the hose, the Bissell had a handle to grab and easily pull off bottom section and use without attaching extender hose...this one you have hit the button and attach the extender and still bend to reach anything because the wand isn't long enough and the hose is difficult to pull, so your constantly tilting the vacuum backwards and bending to get behind tv stands, along baseboards,etc.... then the attachment constantly falls off its holder (we actually lost one somewhere in a customers home) we made adjustments by putting Velcro on the attachment and it seems to keep it in its holder now. The cord does not fit around the return, constantly falling off, very annoying when your going from home to home....this is supposed to be commercial, so I am not sure why these things were overlooked in design process. Will never buy again.

Darren O'Leary: I received vacuum without the pin required to secure the handle (took 2 weeks before I received it from Hoover), also the Y type bags recommended for this vacuum do not fit well and the bag area compartment making it difficult both to put the bag in place and close the compartment door. On the positive side it works like a vacuum should.

Craig Little: Lightweight and works good. Very good vacuum for the price.

t omr: Easy to assemble. Not super light weight, but self propelling is really handy. It doesn't drag you around it just helps make it feel lighter and more maneuverable. Cleans well on both carpet and bare floors. Hose is easily connected to attachments. All around good vacuum.

WJ: First, we have 3 kids ages 1, 3, and 6, so our vacuum definitely needs to suck up more than a little dust. We also live in the country and work outside a lot so we get lots of dirt tracked in too. I bought this vacuum to replace a Hoover Windtunnel which had died on us after 11 years. I was looking for something that would again last several years that was in the $100-$200 range. I seriously considered a Shark, but after I read the negative reviews of it shocking people, I went in search of something else. This one stood out because the few reviews it had were all good and we'd had good luck with our previous Hoover. One plus with a Hoover is it's very easy to find parts and bags that are inexpensive (can find bags for under $1/bag). Having used both bagged and bagless vacuums, I prefer the bagged. They seem to be less dusty and you don't have to worry about cleaning filters every time you use the vacuum, so that was another plus for this vacuum. After receiving the vacuum and looking it over, the body of the vacuum seems like it would be about the same durability as my previous Hoover, which is fine. I don't know that it would give me the impression of...

BryanL1969: First, I own a flooring restoration company and I do my fair share of carpet cleaning. I normally buy commercial vacuums that cost three times the price I paid for this Taskvac that deliver "just okay" results.
That said, I've been seeing the Taskvac used more and more so I thought I'd give it a shot. I wasn't expecting much from a $150 commercial vacuum but I was definitely surprised.
It's lightweight, a ton of suction, excellent airflow, bags are easy to find and replace, belts are easy access and easy to replace. Most importantly, the carpets are clean and fluffy after vacuuming with the TaskVac. I would say that for the money, I cannot find any faults with this vacuum.
As my vacuum fleet starts getting older I believe I will begin replacing them with the TaskVac. I give this an A+++ rating and highly recommend, especially if an inexpensive, lightweight, high performance machine is what you need.
Great Job Hoover!!
